I love BioShock Infinite, but I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t a disappointing amount of cool content missing from the game.

The number one thing I was excited about from the original ten minute gameplay trailer was the telekinesis. Booker was shown pulling weapons out of enemy’s hands using telekinesis and firing them while holding them in midair! I was so excited about that! But telekinesis didn’t show up in the game at all.

There’s Undertow, yes, and I love Undertow, but it is not as fun and multifaceted as the proposed telekinesis from the original gameplay trailer, as giggle-inducing as shoving people off of Columbia is.

Something I also missed from the original two games was weapons getting cool-looking addons when you upgraded them. It made the upgrades feel very tangible and real, and they looked so cool! Not in Infinite, though, because they decided to stick with the swap-based two-at-a-time weapon system, instead of the weapon system from the original games that let you carry everything at once.

  • A Secular Saint
  • Gilbert Alexander
  • Bioshock 2

The genius of Sofia Lamb is a thing of empathy, a profound moral sense; I can only describe her… as a kind of… of secular saint. But dividing her loyalty evenly across the world at large spreads it so thin as to be invisible to some. Love… I have found, is… beneath her. Naturally, Ryan arrested her… gave her to Sinclair to incarcerate somewhere. But upon her escape, she took the city… and changed my life forever.

im a sucker for Dad/Child media. i s2g its coming up in a big way recently. last of us, all the bioshocks, dishonored, the walking dead, dadverine, good dads or dads who are trying are everywhere and im so happy. what other dad kid media do you like

I love it, but it’s gotta be a certain kinda relationship! Last of Us had a different feel to Dishonored, there was more involvement and more development.

I don’t like it as much when it’s just Dad Tries To Find Kid and they’re barely together you know?

Recently, Hunt for the Wilderpeople was a great example, and also Luther season 2. It’s all good shit. I can’t really think of anything that super sticks out to me like those, any teacher-y/high school set shows tend to be good for that sort of thing. Yeah.

Sander Cohen is my favorite villain in the original BioShock, his level is by far the most interesting and well put together as well as horrifying, but he is definitely written with the Effeminate Gay Artist stereotype in mind, and I hate that part of his character. It makes me pretty uncomfortable, as a gay person.

Post ten characters you’d like to roleplay as, have roleplayed as, and might bring back, then tag ten people to do the same. ( If you can’t think of ten characters, just write down however many you can and tag the same amount of people. ) Aside from that, please REPOST instead of reblogging.
