SAG-AFTRA has reached an agreement with the AMPTP.
Sean Astin, a SAG-AFTRA negotiating committee member, said it was gratifying to be able to tell the strike captains that “their sacrifice worked”: “People have put so much of themselves. The toll it takes is real,” he said. “The level of emotion is impossible to overstate.”

Keep your 12-gauge, buy a handgun if you want. Go hunting with your 30-06. But there is no reason a civilian needs to have an assault rifle or semi-automatic weapon or any gun that can mow down groups of people in mere seconds. And as far as second amendment rights go, I don’t think the writers of the early state constitutions could have imagined the guns we have today. If you’re worried about protecting your family, buy a handgun. A handgun! You don’t need an assault weapon/riffle/semi-automatic gun.
Sad that this is once again relevant.
