Thank you for the condolences on homeschooling, nobody seems to understand how badly it sucked, whenever homeschooling comes up, it's someone promoting it.
I never minded it when we were travelling, because getting to travel as a kid was actually a really great experience, and at the time, I loved being able to focus on paleoanthropology and palaeontology.
But it also completely kept me out of lab science until I was in college (I didn't take Chem 1 till I was a senior), which was a whole mess and I was severely behind in every subject but hard sciences and Logic math, which for some inexplicable reason the homeschooling programme let me take instead of algebra, and had the grammar of 7-year-old, and I missed out on a lot of social skill development that only be learned surrounded by your peers.
Homeschooling for any reason but longterm travel sucks.
