The flowers of this Magnolia cylindrica (Huangshan magnolia) had been caught by a frost but my friend described them as resembling meringues which had been in a hot oven, so they still looked great to me. This deciduous tree has a rounded habit, growing best in full sun or partial shade.

I started off this semester tired, so it's only right I end it absolutely exhausted
on the bright side, however, i've developed an unhealthy emotional attachment to my indoor plants
I feel like an evil scientist, I have achieved mega Björk. I finally potted up all my cuttings into one big pot. Hopefully the sheer size is conferred through my bad photographs. I'll take some better ones once the new pot arrives.

This Viburnum × burkwoodii 'Mohawk' (arrowwood) has been fan trained on horizontal wires to this fence. This is a compact, semi-evergreen or deciduous shrub with glossy green leaves producing orange and red tints in autumn. The white, fragrant flowers open from red buds.
