Butter doing some weaves + basketball! She continues to do well and hasn't had any incidents of bleeding in nearly 2 weeks! We stop antibiotics this coming Monday and after that hopefully she'll remain asymptomatic - go Butter!

I thought i'd take this moment to also update everyone on Butter - its now been 2.5 weeks since she started to bleed, and she's been on antibiotics for the last 2 weeks. Since starting antibiotics she hasn't bled at all, and now that she's been off antobiotics for a day I'm happy to say she continues to be bleeding free! hopefully this means it was a UTI and she is all fixed up now but I will continue to monitor her closely for the next few weeks just to be sure.

This weeks paintings come with some bittersweet news, because my old girls Donut and Omelet are officially retiring from paw painting. Both girls are over 2.5 years and while they are doing quite well for their age, Omelet has been showing less interest in training these last few weeks and Donut's hind legs are unfortunately still declining. Olive will continue to paint as she is in perfect health and still extremely motivated to train, but if that starts to change then she will also be retired.

As far as the sweet part of the news goes, the babies have all done their first paw paintings on actual canvas! Raisin, Tofu, and Popcorn will be taking over the reigns as the old girls step back, and while they are currently only working smaller paintings they will move on to larger ones in the following weeks.

Thought it'd be fun to compile all of Raisins molt pictures so far - I've now had her for nearly 2 months (she and Popcorn and Tofu came home June 7th), and she's really kept me on my toes with her crazy changes! Each of these pics are taken just a few days to a week apart. . I actually recently got back from a 4 day trip only to find Raisin had gone from fully furred to totally nakie - that's what inspired her and Tofu's pictures, since I initially mistook her for Tofu when I came back and saw her sans fur lol.
