Morgan was slow as a forward. Her speed limited her "onside" scoring ability (HaHaHa). Press has speed but she fucking lost the ball during her run (awful, really awful). Press is the same Press, who performed well against weak defense teams but choked during big moment. Pinoe's speed does not matter, because she has Ben slow since her third ACL injury in 2017 (or maybe she has always been slow according to 2011 world cup vid o and 2012 Olympic games). Even with limited speed, Pinoe could still pass defenders, which only Rose and her did during the Netherlands game. Morgan, Press, Health and Lylod could not fucking pass defenders and make shots at the quarterfinals. Had it not for Pinoe, Morgan and Press could've not touch the ball. If you they wanna trash Pinoe, that's ok. But please don't trash her with the example of Press, Heath, and Morgan, all of whom were bad in their position and could not even stay onside. Only Lynn could replace Pinoe from my prospective. Lynn was a better version of Press, who had speed and precision without choking at big moment.

Alex was one of my favourite players, my most favourite forward of USWNT like, ten years ago. But for the recent years, yes I found her being slow and same thought as you about Christen. With all these young talented forwards on board, I worry about Alex’s WC spot more than Pinoe (I’d love to see Tobin in WC 2023 as long as she’s healthy)

I love Pinoe because she’s that clutch player and very skilled. People said she needs to retire and I think no one can replace her, right now

Hope Solo was kicked off the USWNT on August 24 2016. Megan Rapinoe kneeled for the first time on September 15 2016 so the idea that Hope would know ANYTHING about Megan “bullying players to kneel” is laughable.

An Analysis of Ellie

In honor of The Last Of Us Day, I’m finally gonna drag out this headcanon I’ve had in my drafts forever. If you choose to read this, good luck because it’s a long time. 

So, this all started with me thinking about how Ellie has suffered from survivor’s guilt ever since she discovered her immunity, when she was meant to die with her girlfriend/best friend Riley. 

In that moment, Ellie had already embraced death and wanted to share it with her loved one, but that was robbed from her. She continued to live while forced to watch who might have been the first person she ever loved turn from infection. Ellie had no explanation for why that gift of immunity had been given to her. She had that gift thrust upon her by forces outside of her control. Ellie had to contend with her new existence as someone immune to the infection that had torn apart Earth’s reality, trapped in a paradox as a young teenage girl in a post apocalyptic world, until Marlene relieved her of that pressure by giving her life meaning, by giving purpose to her immunity and bestowing an important identity upon her: the savior of the human race.

i am constantly thinking about that dialogue between ellie and dina on patrol where dina asks ellie what she’s doing that night, and after dina tells ellie about her plans to sneak out and go sledding with her friends, she asks “you wanna meet up after?” i literally cannot get it out of my mind that dina wanted to meet up and potentially make out/hook up/have sex with ellie like they did in the weed bunker. like if they hadn’t found themselves stuck down there, dina was probably planning to make the same move on her that night when they met up. it makes sense that she was pretty persistent on getting some alone time with ellie. i cant stop thinking about this god help me

Dina is apparently very aggressive in this relationship, I think. In the flashback Ellie told Joel that Dina and Jesse went on and off, I immediately went to the conclusion of Dina was actually finding a right time to start with Ellie. Then there was Cat, Dina was all jealous and probably stayed with Jesse

Dina really wasted no time and kind of making up all these years she’s been waiting, definitely wanted more after she finally kissed the person she’s in love for a long time
