Nsfw; work that body work that body make sure you don't hurt nobody

Oh, and I made a separate tumblr for craft stuff. @thiccatcrafts

Might start using this again. Deleted all of my posts for a fresh start, may unfollow some people I don’t remember or people that post too much as a continuation of the “fresh”. That said, my memory is shit, so if we were chill, lmk and I’ll follow you again.

a lot of people genuinely don’t seem to understand just WHY a significant amount of gay people have loved yuri on ice so much. it’s not JUST because it’s a gay couple. there have been plenty of terrible anime and manga that portray gay and lesbian couples in unhealthy, fetishistic ways. YOI is different.

There were no creepy age gaps, no creepy sexual aggression, no fetishistic scenes of viktor and yuri making out in maximum detail. they were two grown men in deep love with each other who showed it in simple, realistic way–shopping dates, holding hands, having arguments where they constructively and honestly dealt with their problems came out closer on the other side, emotionally supporting each other. It is so very much unlike so many anime before it, and it didn’t bait us either. No one was called a slur, no one died, and they were happy in the end, together! That’s a fuckin rarity.

So no we don’t take yoi because it’s a scrap and we’re desperate, people in the community like it because it’s a healthy, positive portrayal of two people of the same gender in love with each other and supporting each other.

The other reason it was so important to me was the total lack of homophobia in this universe. Because after episode 7, while I was wonderfully surprised and utterly delighted that we weren’t being baited after all, I was bracing myself for the backlash I expected against two famous male athletes who kissed on international TV. But then? It never happened. There WAS no controversy, no disgust, no drama, no one even felt the need to mention it because two men being in a romantic relationship is seen as a perfectly normal in this world. There’s never any insults about their orientation or jokes where being gay is the punchline. There’s no ‘b-but we’re both guys!’ bullshit. Two men are allowed to kiss and be in love and just exist like it’s no big deal!

I didn’t realize before YOI how much I needed a fantasy like this. It’s exhausting when so much queer media is about our suffering, about kids thrown out of their homes and threats of violence and staying in the closet for your own safety. It felt so liberating to see that, oh, we don’t always have to tell stories about that. We don’t always have to be ‘realistic.’ We can tell stories about people like us in a world that’s better and kinder. That realization felt like being set free. I could write stories about people like me, without the silence and fear. That really means a lot to me.

Two magicians made a blood oath when they were children that they would never harm each other. Now they are mortal enemies and have resorted to inconveniencing and annoying each other, knowing if they harm one another they’ll die.

tatsuya has a lot to deal with, for example his dumb son butting in with his phone 24/7 and bringing home giraffees that look too much like his husband

(you can pry this hc outta my cold dead hands)

⚠ARTISTS ALL OVER THE WORLD I NEED YOUR HELP⚠

I found this sketchbook in a restaurant and It may be impossible but I want to find the author.

The sketchbook was found in El Albaicín, Granada, Spain and I think the artist isn’t Spanish, maybe a Chinese tourist or someone who are learning Chinese but who knows u_u

In the drawings you can see some monuments of differents sites of Spain, that’s why I think she/he could be a tourist D:

I already tweeted it and a lot of people are sharing (all my love for you guys<3) but I want to try to find him/her here too

F.A.Q:

Did you ask the restaurant staff if they know it?: I’m the restaurant staff, I work there and we can’t remember who is the owner, sorry - Did you use the reverse image search in Google?: Yes, I do and got nothing u_u

- Can you check the CCTV?: Em… no…  We don’t have it in the terrace and my boss would never let me see them -  What you could do is put a note at the door of the restaurant saying ‘have you lost…?’ : I’m the only one in the restautrant who cares about this and again my boss would never let me do that.

If they are a tourist and you just found it recently, they are probably still travelling and might not check their social media as often: Yes, I know, but maybe someone can recognize his/her style or something

Please, just share and help me to find him/her ;_;

Thank you!

“hey babe where have you been, I made lunch for you” This print will be available at AX, artist alley table H03 🌸🌸🌸

When I was 21 I read “Anna Karenina.” I thought Anna and Vronsky were soul mates. They were deeply in love and therefore had to be together. I found Karenin cruel and oppressive for keeping his wife from her destiny. Levin and Kitty and the peasants bored me. I read those parts quickly. Last year I turned 49, and I read the book again. This time, I loved Levin and Kitty. I loved the fact that after she declined his proposal he waited for a long time to mend his hurt feelings and then asked her again. I loved that she had grown up in the interim and now felt grateful for a second chance. Anna and Vronsky bored me. I thought Anna was selfish and shrill. My heart went out to poor Karenin, who tried to be decent. What has literature taught me about love? Literature (along with experience) has taught me that love means different things at different points in our lives, and that often as we get older we gravitate toward the quieter, kinder plotlines, and find them to be richer than we had originally understood them to be.
