Felt that it’s important to share videos like this too.

The world wants us to forget that they are people.

People who dance and play and smile just like you and I.

And it's important to share things like this, to remind them the world that they are human.

"if your girlfriend is genderfluid why do you usually only use she/her pronouns for them" maybe. maybe it's because they asked me to do that. maybe it's because. they prefer that right now. maybe genderfluid people are not all the exact same. maybe some people do not WANT you to switch pronouns mid-sentence. maybe i know my loved ones' preferences better than a stranger on the internet does.

i see people try to correct older people for calling their partners "transsexual" or calling their transfem wives the fathers of their children (while respecting their pronouns), or calling their transmasc dads "mom" (while respecting their pronouns) and it's like. hey. do you want to take a wild guess where they got that language from. do you think that maybe. it came from the trans person themself. do you think that maybe. that is how they describe themself and what they prefer.

From Palestinian poet Najwan Darwish

i hope this is alright for me to add, but this poem references a line from one of hitler's speeches ordering the genocide of polish jews. at the end of the speech, he justified the genocide by saying "who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the armenians?" in a very literal way, genocides are interconnected and used to justify one another. the holocaust was partially modeled after the united states' genocide of indigenous people. british colonialism around the world had its roots in colonized ireland. this is why it is so important to remember the victims of all genocides across history, and why it is so important for oppressed peoples to stand together in solidarity.

After being starved and imprisoned in blockade for months, 120,000 indigenous Armenians in Artsakh just faced mass deportation and ethnic cleansing at the hands of Azerbaijan, aided by their brother country Turkey and supplied military aid by a third genocidal country, Israel. Noting that in case my American friends think this is a small regional conflict-- guess who funds Israel?

Artsakh will be dissolved on January 1st, 2024 and for the first time in 3,000 years, it will be void of Armenians. Hard to put the pain into words. Turkey and Azerbaijan will not stop here, as pan-turkic doctrine claims all of Armenia as theirs. Armenian existence threatens the fabric of Azeri (and Turkish) national identity so it is no surprise they want to annihlate us again.

With the violent occupation of Artsakh, our ancient holy sites will be desecrated and our history rewritten while major news outlets will find pretty words for genocide like "conflict" or "war". No one will punish Azerbaijan's war crimes, no one will remember white phosphorous rain on our homes. And the perpetrators will continue to live a lie.

I think denial is a fragile basis for any relationship, to a person or to a land. What is built on a foundation of denial will break under enough tension, after enough time. I believe we'll be back someday.

And we are our mountains. I think they will always remember us.

Hey, you are not an embarrassment for not knowing how to do certain household chores/basic self-care. They do not come naturally to us. A lot of it takes practice! Maybe you had a neglectful guardian. Maybe you had one that was very coddling and never thought to teach you. Maybe you haven't lived in a place where these things were available to you or needed. Doesn't matter. It's okay to not know and far more common than you might realise.

That said, this website provides very simple instructions on how to do everyday tasks such as making your bed, using a washing machine, cooking different foods, washing dishes, taking a shower, etc. All you have to do is use the search bar to find the task you're struggling with, and it'll come up with what you need + other related how-to's:)

If you're having trouble navigating it, let me provide you with some examples:

It's also perfectly okay if these don't help or aren't appealing to you. Unfortunately, nothing helps everyone.

School years make me very emotional. When they were just allowed to be kids and do all the silly things they wanted to and just be 16

Also my first time drawing peter and he turned out really well.
