Things to watch out for when looking for witchy or spiritual blogs:
1. Does this person support worshiping any deity you want to? Do they incorrectly worship gods or do ceremonies from a religion they don’t belong to? This can be considered cultural appropriation.
2. Does this person support the use of curses? (Curses as spells or rituals of illwishing, to try to make something bad happen to someone) Just because it’s not physical violence or emotional abuse doesn’t mean it’s not bad. It is still a mean thing to do.
3. Does this person say that Wicca has to include witchcraft? Do they say that all witchcraft is Wiccan? Tread carefully, because those things do not have to be related. There are Wiccans who don’t practice witchcraft, and there many witches who don’t belong to Wicca or any other religion.
Cursing can be mean, sure, but in most all cases, it’s done when someone’s already been attacked. It’s more often used as self-defense or a counterattack, than a first strike. More on that below.
4. This person tries to tell you what is “wrong” and what is “right” in YOUR practice (such as cursing).
Me or the OP?
That was directed toward the OP. Your addition was great!
