Pick up the phone at your own peril; the latest Monster High Skullector collaboration may be on the line. These Ghostface and Casey Becker Monster High Skullector dolls, inspired by the classic slasher film SCREAM, feature premium fabrics and iconic details that will curdle your blood... – hey, weren't you making some popcorn?
rocky horror is the worst and is also transmisogynistic can we please finally get over this shit movie
ok but like the writer is transgender nonbinary and the language used in the play was the preferred language by trans people of that time can we not deny parts of our history because we’ve evolved since then thanks
So fucking much this.
PS, youth of today: you’ll be saying the same damn thing about art from this time before too long, for good or for ill. Terminology will, in fact, change. Definitions will, in fact, shift. It always does, they always do.
PPS, it is pretty much impossible to overstate how life-alteringly important this movie was to kids who didn’t conform to standard expectations of gender and sexuality, back in the day. Especially when back in the day was the mid-to-late 1980s, when the only queers you saw on TV were neutered AIDS tragedies, Bowie was playing straight, and even Elton John was married to a woman, and midnight showing of RHPS were pretty much the only place that felt like home. It was mental life raft for a lot of people.
I was one of them.
#the queer youth of today has forgotten all its history and is spitting on its ancestors and i hate it (via @gaythreats)
beautifully phrased
I don't want to make it blue
imagine your la vie en rose
You get there and all the pretty boys look up from drinking from the reservoir and gallop away like gazelle
straight people ARE stinky
people who don’t watch horror movies are SO confident that they know everything there is to know about the genre. like it’s okay to not know things. it’s okay if you don’t like friday the 13th or whatever. i promise you don’t need to make an ass out of yourself on the internet about it
horror is an incredibly diverse genre, because there is potential horror in everything. it’s in nature, it’s in architecture and technology, it’s in human relationships, it’s in folklore, the past, the future, the mundane. there are horror movies from all over the world. it is straight up anti-intellectual to pretend that the handful of B slashers you’ve vaguely heard about comprise the totality of what horror has to offer. If you’re just not interested in horror, or if you dislike certain subgenres of horror, then that’s fine, you’re not obligated to like anything at all. but smugly announcing that you don’t like horror because you dislike a handful of VERY specific non-universal tropes is just as stupid as saying that you hate comedy because you don’t like adam sandler movies.
The adorable Yue from @_cheumi's DTIYS art challenge, made in celebration of her hitting over 95k followers on twitter! I had an absolute blast working on this! ♡♡♡
I'm not sure if she has a tumblr account here, so please go check out her amazing work via her caard, where you can find her social media and online merch store!

I love the notes saying this femme knows exactly what she's doing and it's all part of her flirting technique. You get it.
More of his stuff and about him
My absolute favorite of his work

Fatphobia in the gay men's community is uh. Rampant and i don't think people really address it that much because thin people don't think it's an issue and fat people are never taken seriously (often because they're fat!!).
Y'all will call any skinny buff man with a bit of chest hair a bear, then label the actual bears as "creepy" or "ugly" if you don't just flat-out ignore their existence.
Y'all will be like "i love men's tits" until a fat man exists and suddenly it's all "we can't promote such an unhealthy lifestyle, because being unhealthy is bad" pretending to care about us while simultaneously calling us undesirable and linking moral weight to physical weight.
Apparently it's completely impossible to show support for fat gay men without being fetishistic about it and i'm fucking sick of it. Do better. i'm not holding you at gunpoint telling you to find every fat man hot. i'm asking you sternly to treat us like human beings. It's not that hard.
okay tumblr olds. tell me in the tags what piece(s) of media you’ve never seen/read/played despite them dominating your dash for months or years
