please don't reblog this post a devilish temptress tricked me into making it and she placed a hex upon it so that every reblog removes a molecule from my body
I think we can do it.

All the people in the notes saying 'that's too busy'... maybe this post just wasn't aimed at you.
Slutshaming women is not ok Slutshaming Alexander Hamilton is totally ok Tumblr logic
he cheated. on his wife.
he’s also been dead for several hundred years this is the funniest post ive ever read in my life
fave things about this post:
date of origin: 2014
The Hamilton discourse extends beyond time.
There’s absolutely no reason for Robert Pattinson to be sounding like that and it’s fucking hilarious
Pattinson being an absolutely phenomenal voice actor to the point he completely disappears into the role is the most on-brand thing in the world
judas was probably like "jesus has pulled off so many wacky things, he'll get out of this one lickity split, and i get three shiny coins out of it, too"
i love fictional celebrities who are treated like real celebrities and i don't think anyone has ever done it better than the Muppets. like just something about them being physically present in the room really sells it yknow. you watch an interview with Kermit the frog and you're like yep. that's famous actor and tv legend Kermit the frog. that's him. he's real.
before: GOD DAMN MOTHERFUCK PIECE OF SHIT
after: hello mommy 🥺 could you pretty please help me with this 🥺 it’s me your baby boy
"zillennial" isnt enough i think we need to introduce three microgeneration labels for everyone born between 95 and 2005 based on how covid fucked them up because i really believe that being in your early 20s and trying to figure out how to pay rent in the pandemic, graduating highschool in 2020 and having to pause your transition to adulthood, and zoom highschool created wildly different types of traumatized people.
if u were under 25 and both ur stimmy checks went directly to rent, youre now aging really poorly and more pessimistic than even the worst millennials.
if you had to abandon your plans to move out/start working/go to college bcs of the pandemic, youre like one minor catastrophe away from domestic terrorism
if you attended more than a year of zoom highschool youre unsocialized like a feral kitten and probably mildly illiterate
during peak pandemic i couldnt afford to leave my abusive ex, had to get a flip phone bcs my phone broke and i was too poor to replace it.... meanwhile my young zoomer coworkers spell "diagonal" as "daiginil" on the order forms i have to read. to me this is a much much starker divide than who remembers 9/11 really well.

“It is not immediately obvious which of Zadkine’s figures is Vincent and which is Theo. Like all who relieve the suffering of others, Theo—in a process that is the exact opposite of a blood transfusion—has taken some of Vincent’s pain into himself. Soon, however, it becomes obvious that while the sky weighs heavily on both figures, one, Vincent, feels gravity as a force so terrible it can drag men beneath the earth. From this moment on you are held by the pathos and beauty of what Zadkine depicts: despair that is inconsolable, comfort that is endless. One figure says, “I can never feel better,” the other, “I will hold you until you are better.”
