What I really think would be cool is if Amy [if she even appears] would be adopted by Rachel and Randell. Not only would it put some distance between the Wachowski family so that any romantic ties between Amy and Sonic wouldn’t be weird, but also give Jojo a cool hammer swinging big sister and allow Jojo to join the cast more often. Also, I am curious if Rachel genuinely doesn’t like Sonic and his friends/family or that it’s because he and Tails are associated with Tom and that’s why.

Am i the only one who think try guys moght fail now? Feels like eugene wasnt 100% in when they left buzzfeed and keith has lewberger, zach cant really do much without a good group... and addint another person is weird cause they pushed the brand by this we are all such good friends we are brothers narrative

I can't believe I'm getting Try Guys asks! Thank you, this is an interesting question.

I think there are a few things going on right now and depending on how they play out, I suppose we'll see:

  • Rumour has it a few people from the staff are leaving, but the source is deuxmoi, so we'll have to see if this is substantiated. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a shake-up of the behind the scenes/sometimes on camera staff of 2nd Try.
  • They knew for about a month and have been actively doing damage control already, which means it's not a sinking ship per se. They started editing Ned out of ongoing projects that are still in editing. They informed us that there'd be 1 video per week for a while. I believe the process started pretty much immediately when Will informed Ariel early September. I think the fact that it broke so rapidly on social media forced their hand this week, and instead of making a dedicated 'we're parting ways video' at their own pace, everyone was forced to release statements.
  • They were already working on a bunch of content for the next months, so I think we'll get a few slightly choppy but overall very well edited videos over the next weeks as the Ned content comes to an end.
  • THEN: And this is where things get interesting. I hope that we will see a brandnew stream of content of the three of them. How that goes over and how enthusiastic the fans are about it will heavily determine the future of the Try Guys. So I suggest bringing a lot of enthusiasm and as little 'we miss ned' and 'this isn't working with the three of you' as possible.
  • I joked in my post, but I don't think another steady member will be added on, but we will see a lot more of whoever stays at 2nd Try after this shake-up. I also think that for 'Without a Recipe' etc. we'll see familiar guests as the fourth contestant, Kwesi, Kelsey, LaurDIY, Lewberger, the works. And I think that format has already been shown to work very well.
  • What happens with the podcasts, spouse-based content is anyone's guess. Ariel won't be there anymore I don't think, but I'd be happy to be surprised.
  • I do think they'll each continue pursuing their solo projects, as they have been, and they'll pre-film, or we'll get videos with two members when one can't join.

I don't think it's doomed, but it'll be a labor of love and support to keep it afloat while everything settles. They're too popular and well set-up to just let it fall apart. I don't think there's a need to phone it in (beyond the new phoning it in series which I greatly enjoy)

I know the scene is about Sonic and Knuckles, but Tails comes to the rescue in-between Sonic saying "being a hero isn't about taking care of yourself, it's about taking responsibility for other people" and "I didn't do this all alone, I found a new family, new friends, and you can too", implying that Sonic already sees Tails in the same light as Tom and Maddie

oh, i'm fairly certain sonic started seeing tails in that light in that bar idk, there's something about the way sonic looks at tails after the dance battle that makes my brain go "brothers!! he sees him as a brother!!"
