Watched an anime where a girl gets engaged to another girl in the first episode. Spends the entire series fawning over her fiance, talks about how much she adores her fiance, fantasizes about the life she’ll have with her fiance. Calls her fiance her “bride”. Has a whole breakdown when she and her fiance end up in a rough patch. Comes to a new mutual understanding with her fiance that leaves them closer than ever. Gets married and the two of them live in the countryside and care for children.
Then I come online and see some dipshit go, “They didn’t kiss onscreen though, so its not actually gay.”
