i ave question, if ur not boy in a traditional English sense u mean u fit somewhere in a "nonbinary" spectrum? like, does bi lesbian mean a cisgender man can be a lesbian 2? I don't mean 2 be rude but western gender stuff is so different than here in China lol (we just have gay and lesbian and bi)

Yeah I'm considered nonbinary, but I'm also considered both a boy and a girl, being both a boy and a girl makes me nonbinary.

Bi lesbian is someone who identifies as both bi and a lesbian, this may be because they're bi with a heavy preference for women, they're bi but only want to date women, they like both men and women romantically but only like women sexually or vice-versa, they're abro which can mean they feel like they're sometimes bi because they like both men and women some of the time, but other times they only like women and feel like they're a lesbian, or they go by the definition of bi that means "likes two or more genders" and they like women and nonbinary people. There are also probably some reasons I'm missing.

Some people believe cisgender men can be lesbians if that's how they honestly feel, in my opinion if a cisgender man feels like a lesbian there's a good chance they aren't cisgender, but this is a controversial topic and I've seen a lot of people say cisgender men can't be lesbians, honestly I don't care that much about how other people identify so I don't have that strong of an opinion on this.

"Bigender & genderfluid people can be lesbians because they're not men, they're bigender/genderfluid!"

"Bigender & genderfluid people can be gay because they're not women, they're bigender/genderfluid!"

Look up the fucking definitions of words and talk to people who use those labels before you speak oh my fucking god.

[This goes for other multigender labels not just bigender, that's just the most common one I see talked about]

Wish people wouldn't see genderfluid people as less of a man or less of a woman than binary men and woman. The whole "you aren't a man/woman, you're genderfluid" thing is so obnoxious. Like tell me you don't know what genderfluid is without telling ne you don't know what genderfluid is.

The same applies to others who experience being multiple genders. It's just misgendering.

Edit: To clarify, I know there are plenty genderfluid and multigender peeps who aren't men or women, my issue is with people supposedly earnestly saying you aren't something that you in fact, are.

"saying men can't be lesbians is exclusionist to multigender lesbians." mx, let me tell you something: multigender people are not binary men

Mx, let me tell you something: You are actively misgendering all the multigender people who do identify as binary gender(s) or don't identify as nonbinary, of which there are many, which makes you a transphobe.

Perisex allies: stop this shit

CW: intersexism

Came across this infographic during some google image searching and I'm still kind of a state of despair about it because it's not just offensively wrong about what intersex is, it was used to teach university students about queer issues:

Alt text: LGBTQIA+ are defined one by one. Intersex is defined erroneously as "These are people who were born with genital organs of both sexes (male and female). It is a genetic condition."

It's one thing for your rando perisex person to be getting this wrong on social media. It's another thing entirely when it's professionals getting this wrong in an educational setting. 😩 And that this infographic appears in a peer-reviewed publication. 😩

It's even worse to know the students that were taught with this infographic were medical students, who will be the ones traumatizing intersex people for decades to come 😩

It's so wrong in so many different ways:

  • Intersex is not limited to people with genital differences. Most intersex people have intersex variations that are not apparent at birth, with puberty being the most common time of life for variations to present. Many people find out in adulthood having no outward physical differences.
  • Of the intersex people with genital differences, they do not have two sets of genitals. Most genital differences are still recognizably female or male (e.g. spadias), and those who have ambiguous genitals have one set.
  • Intersex is not "male parts + female parts" or even "intermediate male/female parts", it is an umbrella term for anybody whose primary/secondary sex characteristics don't line up with what is expected for male and female bodies. Some intersex variations make women look more feminine, or make men look more masculine.
  • Defining intersex by genital differences doesn't just exclude most intersex people, it also sets the tone that we are defined by our genitals. To be publicly intersex is to have non-stop DMs about your genitals. This sort of framing sets up openly intersex people for invasive questions and harassment, and it keeps large numbers of intersex people from coming out.
  • Many intersex variations do not have a known genetic basis. Many intersex variations are caused by exposure to certain hormonal levels in the womb. Certain medications when taken during pregnancy can trigger intersex variations.
  • While bodily variation is necessary for being intersex, the social experience of stigma, discrimination, isolation, hyper-medicalization, and hyper-sexualization are all just as much a part of being intersex.

📣 Perisex allies: this is shit you can stop. When you see other perisex people parrot this sort of misinformation, correct them. Direct them to look up resources written by actually intersex people.

Here are some starter resources to give:

ppl really need to learn about the concept of de-gendering, purposefully calling someone who uses gendered pronouns "they/them" is de-gendering, saying you cant be both mlm and wlw but have to be nblm and nblw is de-gendering, saying you can't be a lesbian if you're a bigender boy+girl because you're part boy so you have to call yourself "trixic" or some other gender-neutral label is de-gendering, treating nonbinary people who are binary genders as if they arent their genders but are some third identity is de-gendering, saying bigender and genderfluid people arent actually their genders but are just "bigender" and "genderfluid" or just "aligned with masculinity and/or femininity" is de-gendering

My curiosity has stuck again and I now got to know where people fall on the aspec spectrum and the other spectrum. Man I am so good at English. All honesty I spent 3 minutes just sitting here trying to find out how to spell eloquent before giving up. Anywayssss super sorry if I forgot a sexuality. I know pan isn’t on there but I couldn’t fit it in. :((( Also always remember no matter where you fit in here you are always valued and how you feel is important. 💜💜💜Stay safe out there eat garlic bread and invade the populations.

straight lesbian wallpapers!

Straight Lesbian: Someone who identifies as straight and a lesbian. An intentionally vague term, for a broad umbrella that community can gather under. Mostly used by multigender, genderfluid, and otherwise nonbinary individuals, though it is not a closed label. Also known as straightbian and lesbihet.
