@glamstructed: I just associate it so strongly with wetsuits, which I hate. but yeah that's fair, our perceptions of stuff always wind up skewed by who we spend our time with, I guess
yes!! this is why I have never “gotten” it as a fetish thing. always hated wetsuits
maybe the fact that i don’t like neoprene is just a function of childhood negative sensory experiences w wetsuits?
i always thought it was a kind of levis and leather puritanism
what a relief
anyone here?

@glamstructed says: do most people like neoprene??
i guess it’s really a list of “things many people i know like, but i don’t,” where “people i know” is a very skewed category of people

"private" social media accounts 7. the "oh no wait look there are actually a FEW sestinas in this book" move 8. Leonardo DiCaprio 9. Martin Scorcese 10. pineapple

Actress, Miriam Margolyes: When you know your worth, you know your worth.
She is beautiful and I love her.
She’s also a lesbian and has been with her partner, Heather Sutherland, for fifty years!
I love to ride a bike through nature. If it just so happens to involve the filming location of Duel (1971), that’s even better.

the fuck is this
Back in the 90s, some people realized celebrity domain names coult net a pretty penny. They’d buy a celebrity’s domain name then wait for that celebrity to contact them once they realized they needed a website. Then they could charge that celebrity whatever they wanted to buy their name back.
So this is a clip from a larger video where Lil Kim talks about trying to buy her domain name but it was already taken – by Left Eye, who bought all her friend’s names to hand them over for free before random people bought them. Left Eye was truly ahead of her time in so many ways. That’s a level of loyalty and prescience you can’t find easily and I love finding out new things about her like this.
(the full segment is cute too about Kim’s admiration for TLC and her relationship with Left Eye https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIMqv2NDUxs)
