I've noticed something in Nimona and I'm adding pictures (UPDATED), but look at the catch lights in the eyes. Nimona has slightly rounded tilted diamonds,
Boldheart has squares (or sideways diamonds),
and the institute has diamonds
Golden Loin has triangles when he doubts the institute or is being purely himself
but diamonds when he's fully on their side.
Glorith has the same eye shines as Nimona in the beginning,
but when she says her famous line, they're diamonds.
Boldheart's catch lights are always a square, or sideways diamond. He never fit in at the institute, but always stood for truth and honor.
This is just something I noticed that I think is cool.
It's midnight here, so happy disability pride month to my fellow disableds, the chronically ill, and also to the temporarily abled.
If your activism doesn't include disability, you're sure as fuck going to wish it did.

- Are chronically ill
- Are in chronic pain
- Have reduced mobility
- Need a wheelchair for whatever reason
- Wish you had a wheelchair but can't get one
- Have a tremor
- Are a spoonie
- Have reduced visibility or are blind
- Have reduced hearing or are deaf/Deaf
- Have an autoimmune disorder
- Have a skin condition
- Have something else physically wrong with you but you just can't figure out what
- Have some other kind of physical disability that I didn't think of/add here (feel free to put in the tags if you are comfortable doing so)
Don't let the world forget about us this July! We are here, we aren't going away any time soon!

—got confused about why I’d never been a boy scout because he forgot i was trans
—told me he was gonna get top surgery scar tattoos to match me after i get mine
—laughs at all my trans jokes, even if they’re supremely unfunny
—calls me big dog (and him little dog) even though he is about as tall as two of me
— “I can’t believe she would say that transphobic thing to you. In June? Pride month?”
Once I said "My gender is whatever's funniest at the time" and my coworker stops dead in his tracks, turns slowly and says "So are your pronouns honk/honk?" killing me instantly

IN A RARE GOOD BIT OF AMERICAN NEWS, THE SUPREME COURT'S REACTION TO THE NORTH CAROLINA CASE OF "WE CAN DO WHATEVER WE WANT WITH FEDERAL ELECTIONS, ACTUALLY" WAS BOTH KEPT BY THE COURT AND DENIED WITH A FAIRLY RESOUNDING "YOU KNOCK THAT SHIT OFF"
This is huge. Every court watcher was predicting that the bench would side with the NC Republican Party because at least 5 justices had authored opinions supporting ISL theory. Not only have they struck it down, they’ve also established judicial precedent to enforce Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act more rigidly than ever before with Allen v. Milligan. Alabama has been required to create a new black-majority congressional district, and the court just cleared the way for the same thing to happen in Louisiana. The Milligan decision establishes a very aggressive interpretation of the VRA’s ban on racial gerrymandering, essentially requiring states to factor in the proportionality of their non-white population when drawing congressional districts. And now with the Moore v. Harper decisions, state courts have the power to enforce that ruling and invalidate a LOT of the congressional maps in the US on the grounds of racial gerrymandering. This is a body blow to institutional racism that cannot be understated. And it came from the most conservative bench in modern history. Who would’ve thunk it?
I stated this really off the cuff and flippantly because I wasn’t expecting it to break containment, but this is a great actual breakdown of the situation for Americans who do need to know this and keep an eye on this, and also for anyone internationally who might be interested.
