it’s called solidarity bitches! im thrilled about all sorts of queer rep because even if it’s not for me specifically it’s good for the community as a whole and that’s fucking cool

trans people do not owe you their backstory. they do not owe you their deadname, their pre-transition pictures, their coming out story, their heartache. trans people who are stealth are not “tricking” you, trans people who are open about it are not “faking”. there is no one trans experience, no specific narrative trans people have to fit.

also, if you’re trans, i love you! remember to drink some water today.

All this is fine, but if you plan on getting physical with someone you need to let them know that you are trans. If you don’t, that’s fucking with someone’s sexuality without their consent and it is very, very wrong. You can hold the opinion that they’re transphobic and I’m not going to argue that, but you shouldn’t be physical with someone who is transphobic, anyway. You could really get yourself killed in a hate crime if you do that. 🙃 Sad, but true. 

i don’t think trans people have to disclose their trans status to potential sexual partners, actually. if they want to do so, because they feel safer/more accepted/etc. when they do, then that’s great, and that’s their decision! but if, for example, you’ve fully physically transitioned, then there is no reason you need to disclose your trans status to a partner in order to have sex or be in a relationship.

i also believe that trans people who have sex with cis people without disclosing their trans status aren’t “fucking with someone’s sexuality”, especially if they’re fully medically transitioned and “pass” as cis. while this isn’t the goal of every trans person, there are many trans people who would rather be fully stealth (or as close to that as they can be), and if their partner can’t tell they’re trans when they’re looking at their genitalia, then there’s no reason to add “by the way, i wasn’t born with this” as a qualifying statement. also, having “getting killed in a hate crime” as a potential consequence of not passing during sex already leads many trans people to disclose their trans identity before hooking up; they’re not dumb, they don’t want to have violence committed against them. if trans people are comfortable enough and/or feel they pass enough to have sex with a cis person without telling them they’re trans, they’re probably fine to do so.

anyways, trans men are men, and trans women are women! (and nonbinary people are nonbinary, of course.) also if you read this you should make sure you do something nice for yourself today!

The inherent fucking racism/xenophobia in the “Save Christmas” rhetoric????? They imposed lockdowns twice right before Eid, countless Hindu, Jewish, Buddhist and more holidays went by in lockdown and now that its Christmas it’s somehow more important? People out there telling all of us that our holidays and religions don’t matter and we have to step up for society (which we did btw) are now going “oh no not Christmas whatever will we do??” Now that it’s YOUR holiday you finally pay attention? Fuck off. We could have been careful and ended this months ago but y’all decided to play around until it came to Christmas. The government deciding to not give a shit about Eid but decide to “protect Christmas” tells you everything you need to know.

On Rosh Hashannah it is an OBLIGATION, not a tradition, but an OBLIGATION to pray in groups of ten or more. Any other year, we must pray in person because the use of electricity is not permitted on our holy days.

I had my Rosh Hashannah alone, in my basement, through streaming. It was the first and only time my cat has gone to synagogue with me.
