Love, Serve, Remember

I finally Finally FINALLY got a fanfic to jump from my thoughts to my keyboard..!

It's my first work ever and I'm so full of emotions... This is definitely a feeling...!!!

A EXTRA LARGE thank you to all the people who supported me and for their faith in me... This wouldn't had been possible without it.. 💝

I was tagged by @crepuscularqueens <3

Last Song: What Dreams are Made of by Ruelle
Currently Watching: still Ted Lasso s2 😅 (I keep getting hyped about the bookmarks I made for Rebecca/Keeley and then remembering I gotta surf this weird Jaime transition wave)
Currently Reading: Surreal Estate by @beautifulcheat just stared chp 6 and the Rosa feels are too much
Current Obsession: it’s an Echo spiral 24/7 over here (though there’s a cracky kaliz veterinary au circling in my head- and a Lizobel older sister of my best friend fic I just started writing)

Thank you for the tag Dear ❤️🌺💚

Last song - I don't remember which I listened to but I have been singing The Element Of Surprise by tlsp since the last hour

Currently watching - Ted Lasso season 2, I was halfway through it then I had to stop, so now I'm just waiting to pick it back up

Currently reading - pol science textbooks, chapter 3 today

Current obsession - my longest fic till now! 13k words, I'm so proud of it, just need to go through it one last time and then it's posting day!

Anonymous asked:

Every once in a while, a post that addresses m/m writers is posted on the internet, and it gives advice on how to write gay sex. Six months later, and another post about how to write gay sex is posted, and it almost completely contradicts the information given by the first poster.

So, is there any actual resource and trustworthy post on how to write m/m sex accurately for those who don't practice it, or the only option is to keep scrambling seeing waves of posts that give fully contrasting "resources"?

--

Well... The most important realization here is that men vary as much as women, so even accurate posts are going to contradict each other.

Minotaur used to have a guide like this that was pretty good. (But, alas, he left us too soon.)

Sex education books aimed at gay men can be useful.

Watching amateur porn can be useful.

Minotaur's guide is still around:

Over 20 years old, so doesn't address recent trends in the fanfic universe. But is written by an Actual Gay Man Who Has Gay Sex And Reads Fanfic. (And liked slash - rather than "here's a list of the ways you're getting it all wrong.")

Minotaur's guide is not a detailed writing guide; it's more "here is info about how gay sex actually works" and not about "how to make that sound romantic in your fic.

NSFW. Includes photos. Including one of a position I have never seen in fic and I now believe that is a tragedy.

I'm guessing the position you're talking about is the fuck-n-suck?

My favorite part of the guide is the form where you could send him your sex scenes and he'll "test it" to verify if it's possible.

Adult Swim making an unholy amount of sense.

Also let’s apply that thinking to the starting premise. When people pay money to buy goods and services the money mostly goes to the laborers involved in the manufacturing/distribution/sale, and that money goes directly back into the economy.

But money for movie tickets goes mostly to the studio, which then just like, stays in the hands of its investors or goes to residuals to pay the (often already-rich) actors. That money doesn’t circulate nearly as much.

ID: White text on a black background, broken up into ten slides. “A recent report claims film piracy costs the economy $20 billion anually. We say this is super misleading. Film piracy may cost the film industry 20 billion, but that money still goes into the economy. People will buy shoes or comic books or cataract surgery or even baby formula instead of spending that money on movie tickets. We say film piracy feeds babies.”

Final slide is of the adult swim logo.

Last song: Vanity by Tophouse, was listening to it when I made lunch, love Tophouse

Currently watching: Manifest on Netflix. A friend recommended it to me and the first season and part of the second season were great but it just gets more absurd now and I'm starting to not like it that much anymore. If I want absurd shows that are enjoyable to watch id finally continue supernatural

Current obsession: Assassin's Creed. Again. Recently got a ps5 and a friend bullied me into getting ps+ so I started playing AC Unity and oh boy I am obsessed with Arno. He won't ever replace Ezio in my heart but damn he's a close runner-up

Currently reading: actually, nothing. Finished Silver Bay by Jojo Moyes like 2 days ago and didn't want to start something new right away. If it counts as reading tho, there's a book Sorry for your Trouble by Richard Silken that I bought a year ago in Venice and still haven't finished. I'm halfway through and once in a while I pick it up again and read another short story. A few of them were fairly good but honestly, nothing I'd recommend.

Thank you for the tag! 🌺

Last song - I Started A Joke by The Bee Gees

Currently watching - Ted Lasso season 2

Current obsession - a fic I'm writing that is now at 12k holy moly

Currently reading - political science textbook which is not boring but still a challenge to stop my mind from wandering

Which Possum Are You?

Thanks for the tag @emotionalcadaver !! 🥰 it was so delightfully random!

I don’t have any current OCs, so I just did it for myself…the results made me giggle ☺️

Here’s the quiz…if you’re interested in taking it (either with/as an OC of yours or as yourself).

True 🙈

Thank you for the tag Dear! 💚💛

I got

Which I am not feeling right now, but it is a state that comes and goes very often, so yeah 😂

Feel That Summer Breeze Like A Kiss On Your Skin

Ship: tage & dylan

Word count: 566

Additional infos: for @sam7sparks7, enjoy darling <3

Sneak Peek:

It all happens in accident when Dylan decides to surprise Tage after a trip with his family. Dylan was going to his but he had a two days spare time in-between and Tage’s little brother gave him the permission to go directly to the country house when they saw each other. And he likes it. He wants to do it. He can’t actually believe that this is happening because that’s literally a way for Tage’s family to fully welcome him. Not that he didn’t feel welcome before but he feels like spending a whole vacation in their house? That’s hell of a next move in their relationship.

A few hours into their mall trip sees the four of them with various bags and smoothies. It’s Isobel’s favorite kind of outing, one packed with all sorts of colors and new things to experience. Which is what sees them being dragged from store to store by their overly enthusiastic sister.

Max doesn’t mind at all, she’s managed to find a dress and a translated copy of Renée Vivien’s poetry. All in all a successful outing, even without the constant sibling bickering that has a dopey grin on her face.

“You two are impossible,” Dallas chuckles.

Isobel finally manages to free the buckle from the box. “Ta da!”

“Impossible?” Michael scoffs, passing the recently de-buckled belt to Isobel. “We’re just celebrating your turn to the macho cowboy side of the tracks.”

“Macho?” Dallas quirks a brow.

“He’s right,” Max says, “definitely more melancholic.”

“Two for two,” Isobel says, clicking the buckle into place. It’s silver and ornate, there are four turquoise inlays surrounded by swirling intricate metal. A metaphor if Max ever saw one. Dallas’s first belt buckle, bought on his first mall trip with his newly discovered siblings, being a cluster of four similarly built and shaped stones.

“The both of you definitely got our angsty nerd categories covered,” Michael snorts.

This is some of the sweetest stuff!
