I’m gonna rant about Christianity...

It is disgusting to see people go out and say, “I am a Christian!” with so much pride. They are so proud of being a Christian.

They will go out and proudly call themselves a Christian without having any idea why they are a Christian. They don’t know how Christianity started with the Catholica Church in Rome and spread all throughout Europe and ended up in America when Europeans came over here. Christians today condemn Islam for being a “hateful religion,” citing the Islamic extremists who are raping a murdering people in the Middle East. But they don’t have any idea how Christianity spread. They don’t teach it in schools. My sister is a history teacher. She got her degree last year. I asked her about the Inquisition and she said she’d never heard of it. Schools love to leave out how abhorrent the Church was. In reality, the Catholic Church was much, MUCH worse than ISIS is today.

I wil tag this so Christians can see it. Here’s a history lesson for them:

You see, there was this thing called the Inquisition.

The Catholic Church started it to “combat heresy.”

The Catholic Church traveled all throughout Europe to convert people to Christianity, or to “spread the Good News,” as most Christians would call it today. What do Islamic extremists do when someone refuses to convert to Islam? Usually they just chop the person’s head off. That’s generous and quite compassionate compared to what the Catholic Church did. Yeah, they murdered and raped people left and right, but they were also quite familiar with torture devices.

Don’t want to know about them? Too bad. Here they are. And because I know people won’t click on the link, I will share some of the pictures and descriptions here:

1. “The Rack”

“ This torture device was often used by the Church in Middle Ages as a quite effective way of confession extraction. Torturers would strap their victims across a board, bounding them by the ankles and wrists and then turning two wheels on each end in opposite direction of each other to the point where dislocation of every joint occurred. Besides regular one, an even gruesome version of the rack, with a grater-like surface going under the victim’s back, was used for heavier offenders.”

2. The Stocks

Everyone has seen these, or at least heard of them. It’s meant to keep people trapped, right? Well, yes, but there’s a lesser-known component of this “torture” device. It’s the thing that classifies it as a torture device. “This was an outdoor, public punishment, where the subject was a victim of both the weather conditions as well as the acts of spitting, kicking, defecating and urinating of anyone willing and present.”

That’s very Christian of them to do… Don’t forget this is what happened to “infidels” and people who refused to convert to Christianity.

3. Water Torture

The “victim’s nostrils were first pinched shut, and then about 8 liters of water was forced down the victim’s throat with a funnel. In some cases boiling water or vinegar was used to inflict even greater suffering. In the end, victim’s stomach would rupture, leading to painful and gruesome death.”

To put that into perspective, imagine having a 2-liter drink forced down your throat all at once. Now imagine FOUR 2-liter drinks forced down your throat all at once. Now imagine that it’s all vinegar.

Does that sound Christ-like to you?

4. Heretic’s Fork

“This simple yet effective instrument consisted of two metal forks set one against the other, was to be placed under the chin of the accused’s, on end resting just above the larynx and the other end above trachea. Forks forced the subject of the torture to hold his head erect at all times in order to avoid pain. Since the instrument didn’t target any vital organs, suffering could last for days without the danger of victims death. Heretic’s Fork was highly popular with Spanish Inquisition.”

Seems like it’s not that bad, right? Well, you know how stiff your neck gets if you sit in one position for an hour or two? Imagine having to sit in that one position for DAYS. Doesn’t damage any vital organs, but that’s a hell of a lot of discomfort during the torture and a hell of a lot of pain afterward.

5. The Pear

“Another device favored by the Spanish Inquisition was the Pear. Mostly used on female victim’s, device was inserted into the subject’s vagina or mouth, and then expanded by twisting the screw on the outer end, lacerating and ripping the inside. Torture sessions that involved the Pear almost always had a fatal end.”

Remember: Christians used these on “heretics!”

7. The Wheel

“One of the most popular and cruelest torture (and execution) methods ever practiced is The Wheel. This giant spiked wheel had to be operated by several men and was able to break literally every bone in victim’s body as it turned, causing agonizing and slow death.”

Notice that says it was the “most popular.” Oh yeah. That’s the good, loving, Christian way. And by the people who pretty much started Christianity in the first place!!! These are the people who have enabled you (Christians) to hear the “Good News” of Christ and become Christians! These are the people who spread Christianity and this is how they did it. Torture. Murder. Rape. Literally ripping a woman’s vagina apart. People converted because they were afraid. They taught their children about Christianity and the Bible that the Church approved of because they were afraid of what would happen to them if they didn’t. And many generations later, here we are. Pretty much everyone in the world knows who Jesus Christ is. And this is why.

8. The Breast Ripper

“Victims that were acussed and condemned for adultery, heresy, witchcraft and blasphemy were often treated with this hellish pronged-like device whose main purpose was to tear breasts off the chest.”

9.  Judas Cradle (taken from this link)

“The Judas Cradle, a terrible medieval torture where the victim would be placed on top of a pyramid-like seat. The victim’s feet were tied to each other in a way that moving one leg would force the other to move as well - increasing pain. The triangular-shaped end of the Judas Cradle was inserted in the victim’s anus or vagina. This torture could last, depending on some factors discussed below, anywhere from a few hours to complete days.”

I’m going to assume you’ve had enough and stop there. I’m pretty sure my point has been made by now.

Aside from the torture, the Catholic Church burned and completely destroyed entire towns if the people refused to convert. Ever wonder why the Norse gods aren’t worshipped by many people these days? The Catholic Church destroyed almost everything that was sacred to them. They murdered people who clung to the Norse gods and raped their women and children. The Catholic Church’s mission was to wipe out all other religions, convert people to Christianity, and destroy those who refuse. In Europe and parts of Asia, they were pretty damn successful.

And that, my friends, is how Christianity was spread. If you are a Christian, that is why.

So yes, it is absolutely disgusting to hear people proudly proclaim, “I am a Christian!” like that is a good thing to be, while being completely ignorant of the murder, rape, and horrendous torture attached to that label. The way Islam is being spread is NOTHING compared to the way Christianity was spread. And Christians have the audacity to say their religion is more peaceful. They are so proud of themselves for not being in a religion that acts that way, but in reality, their religion has a history of being so much worse!!!

With a past like that, being a Christian is nothing to be proud of.

Hey don’t forget about Draw and Quartering!

Draw and quartering was the practice of tying down the victim, cutting open their stomach, taking out their intestines, cooking over an open fire, forcing them to eat it, and then – they would make sure you lived through all of that btw – they would take the victim and tie each of their arms and legs to four horses, each facing a different direction, and set the horses on a race tearing each limb off at a time. What a gruesome way to go. And yes, they did this in public to “heretics.”

Can’t wait to read the denials and attempts to minimize and distance themselves, which are sure to come…

Let’s not forget Christians said black people are animals who can’t go to heaven in the 1700s oh but of course they still say they aren’t natural racists. Islam’s prophet specifically says it’s wrong to treat blacks or any race as less than you.

Okay, lets get one things straight here. I am a Christian, and believe me when I say that most people that I know that are Christians are just as disgusted as you by the things people have done in the past. Its not right, so don’t go justifying the things you are saying by saying that all Christians are like this. 

Don’t you just hate stereotypes? Well guess what? Being a Christian is one of the biggest stereotypes of all time. Check your facts before you go bad mouthing us. Thank you.
