we need to normalize outgrowing old friends. there’s no love lost. no resentment. just self worth and realizing that continuous disrespect can no longer be tolerated. it’ll always be love on my end just from a far. cos we’re too grown to not communicate and/or take accountability for our own actions. friendships shouldn’t be half-assed, exhausting, and/or built on malicious intent. anything that is hindering my peace i need to let go and let God.
