He was trying to focus himself on his own book, but found it difficult to concentrate. His eyes kept on straying towards you, the lashes of your eyes, the shiny tip of your nose and the way you held the end of your pen so close to your lips.
Feeling his cheeks heating up, he shifted his gaze back to his book only to fail and ended up looking at you again. You smiled as you stretched your arms forward, turning your attention to him. Noticing his unwavering stare at you, you asked him, "Are you okay?"
He blinked twice before realizing that you caught his gaze. "U-Uh..." He slightly stuttered, finding the right words until he let out a shallow chuckle and rubbed the back of his neck. He gave you another kiss on your forehead and you resumed back to your work as he rested his chin atop his knuckles, studying you instead of his own book.

He leaned his head backwards, laughing. With you being sassy like that, he just loved it. Placing a soft kiss on your cheek, he pressed you close to him. “Tell me why are you so cute?”
You returned the kiss and replied, “I think you know that better than me.” You winked at him, which made him chuckle. While you walked a little further, he just suddenly stopped, realizing what you said a while ago, “Wait- will you actually break up with me if I forgot about Valentine’s?”
