as doc keeps on getting more and more animal features to add to his design i like to think he does that to himself, mad-scientist style. like okay. i think he STARTED fairly humanoid creeper shaped. then god took his arm and doc decided fuck you, he's going to be greater than god now. he makes himself an arm. he goes "oh this is neat". and then he spends a few years like. just adding more creeper shit to himself. goes from "fairly humanoid" to "why is your... back like that" to "oh god your legs". and then he's like. wait if i can pull this off... i can do NON-creeper things. and makes himself a goat. because he thinks goats are cool. and recently he was like "what if i threw in INSECT parts" and now he's part butterfly and look, man, the other hermits just let him go at it. like yeah he is busy making himself into a body horror abomination. but he's having fun while he's doing it, so really, what's the harm?
sometimes he does offer this to the others like. "hey man this is great if you ever want to be a man-made horror well within my comprehension but outside of everyone else's". and except for zedaph one time so far everyone has politely declined,
Honestly the more I think about grian and zedaph’s dynamic the more I’m obsessed with it. These two have such a weird rivalry going for absolutely no reason. The quartz shop the base swap the. whatever is happening with the dragon egg right now. They bring out the absolute worst in each other. If you put grian and zedaph in a box together they’d tear each other apart like betta fish. Why? Why is that? They both exist at the fringes of hermit society, often elusive and shy around those not in their inner circle of trusted besties (yes this applies to grian too, trust me ok). And yet when they interact with each other (approximately once per year) they are such haters to each other. And for what. They don’t even know each other that well!!! Two species of animal who occupy the same environmental niche and thus must compete for resources type dynamic. Maybe british people are just like that. Idk.
Also, Grian is such a hermit [the literal meaning (a person living in solitude as a religious discipline - the religion being mischief, of course)].
In season 6, I thought he was shy and anxious just because he was new and unconfident in his abilities (used to creative and not familiar with the newer versions of Minecraft). But no. He's just like that. He interacts with Mumbo. And Scar (mostly just to mess with him). And that's like it (unless tnt is involved - see: Joe Hills from Nashville Tennessee).
Found a fic in the depths of my documents. I think this was gonna be my guess the author fic but then some wires got crossed and I forgot I had this. It's about 3/4 written, so.
Anyway: Zed and Cleo dig to try and find Tango. Before it's too late.

Hermitcraft Pokemon AU time!
I just realized I never posted this... I did this drawing some weeks ago and never posted it, because I was not happy with it. But now that time has passed I don’t hate it so much, so yea here we have TFC and Beef, they are going to make dinner and rip lechonk because at this point he is already bacon lol.
TFC is a Excadrill, because the man do be mining.
fun fact: In my pokemon AU the hermits have a lot of ways to get money, because: yea, taxes exist in the pokemon world.
TFC discovered very quickly that Hermitcraft (that is a farm ak.A big plot of land in this AU) is a mineral heaven, TFC is rich as frick even if in paper it’s all Xisuma’s (darn human economy)
Beef is a Kleavor, because bug Beef headcanon my beloved and Kleavor has all that butcher vibes going on. When I first created this AU Kleavor didn’t existed yet, so Beef was one of Ash’s Taurus, because of funny and I didn’t watched him at the time to really think too hard about it.
Anyway, about getting food for the more than 25 hermits in this AU, well they are a farm, so most vegetal and fruits they just plant in Hermitcraft. Meat or out of season plants they just buy in the market, but sometimes a murder Bug has to act as a Murder bug. It’s part of the nature and there is nothing we can do about that.
Another fun fact: Because of the whole “is actually very comum to eat pokemon” thing, the “Is prohibited to kill other hermits” IS actually a rule that has to be said and repeated.
Xisuma is not against the hermits hunting their own food and he eats with them if invited.

This is actually very helpful.
And as someone that was in the MCU fandom for a long time and was actually obsessed with Bruce, The Bruce banner problem is a very accurate way of calling it.
