Step was 'born' in the late 80s, so they can range anywhere from 31-33, potentially 34, in Rebirth (set in 2020). They're a year older than that in Retribution.

Human Enough is actually on Emery's playlist. But my main Em songs are empty crown by YAS, Villain by MISSIO, and Ending by Koethe. Also, Freaks by Surf Curse!

It's a different story if we're talking about songs specifically for ChargeStep/SteelStep/ChargeSteelStep.

We're still stuck in the time loop, some of us are handling it better than others, scooby doo ran around a cabin to avoid dying to what we've affectionately named the Babadook (because we can't remember its actual name), were wrongly accused of murder, played a dangerous game of chicken with the guards after they set the apple barn on fire, were rightly accused of murder, traumatized ourselves and a group of teenagers, and may or may not be responsible for a potential zombie outbreak in Antiva...

Fun fact, this man was part of the inspiration for my Ortega when I set about redesigning him last summer. I just think he's a cute patoot. Isaac is too and I can absolutely see it but, like...Pascal has such a soft, smooshable looking face idk man :')

Might be joining another dragon age campaign in the near future. Raf may or may not be that character. I'm still playing around with a few other concepts because I'm chill with being whatever the group needs, since I know this system like the back of my hand at this point haha

I still can't get over the fact that Emery's little misfit criminal team care about and respect him so much and that he'd burn the entirety of Los Diablos to the ground if something happened to them.

I boosted my force once in Retribution and I have no idea where. I start the HG encounter at 82%. Which makes me think it might've been when Emery started to lose control of his telepathy talking to Chen. Can't say for certain though! I might replay book two later this week and keep a careful eye on when the stats in my canon run change.

(Apparently, his subterfuge went from 61% to 64% as well??)

But I really don't think there are as many opportunities to improve your telepathy in Retribution. Not if you're prioritizing force anyway. Rebirth is where you wanna focus when it comes to significantly increasing either.

CORRECTION: I start Retribution with that canon save at 82%, so I didn't increase it at all :'D

Yes and no?? It's my comfort series and I'm attached to my characters. I wanna explore new parts of the world + learn who the new companions are. I'm not even bothered by the possible combat changes, actually alright with it because I never liked Origins combat. But, like, the devs/writers on twitter are...a lot.

I legit don't remember! I raised it that much on a playthrough after thoroughly exploring every option and picking what felt in character for a canon run (at the time). It always felt easier to increase subterfuge though. Almost smarter to aim for that instead given how frequently it comes in handy for Retri compared to force. Emery just isn't all that subtle.

Like, I can remember all the force boosts until the final Heartbreak flashback, which is where you'll either get a massive boost or a noticeable penalty to force.

I'll try to replicate my results later and make a post.
