"Mid" is such a strange word. It's slang to denote something is not amazing or "Peak" nor is it terrible or "Trash". It's...mid. Middling. Middle of the road. Yet, so many people have used it in a negative context that it's become another way to say bad. Like- The best way I can use it is to describe something that's well made, let's say visually, but still not...good.
