so, a while back I decided to start drawing little animal crossing inspired versions of the homestuck crew... they're finally done, and I decided to use them to make some little aspect info cards. they came out a little wonky, but whatever, it's done.

I'm gonna add them in their complimentary pairs so they can be compared/contrasted or whatever.

the last thing I wanna do here is drop this image in for reference... it helps explain the classes (the image came from the wiki page for the aspects) and I've labeled who has what class to hopefully make things easier?

some passive/active pairs swing more extremely passive or active, while others can be sort of fluid. the classes are more about broad patterns of behavior than strict rules for how the player must perform their role. and the aspects link more to the overarching themes of a person's life, and the lens through which they interpret their experiences.

also, while the active/passive distinction between classes can be described as a sort of yin/yang thing, the aspects exist in complimentary pairs in a similar dichotomy. so like, when a character is a hero of breath, their journey might involve struggling with blood related themes, or a hero of light might struggle against void things.
