Oh like what the hell, I have never ever been an Archie fan. Most days I do not like him as a character, I could care less about him. But tonight, my goodness tonight he was, mature, he was able to hold a conversation with someone and understand them completely and be there for them, and be exactly what they needed.

Archie Andrews is and always should be a supportive character. He thrives that way, he’s likable that way, he’s charming that way. Being an idiot or starting a teen militia or being a pseudo mobster or doing a Lone Ranger act or drinking your problems away, is no way to craft a leading man, a hero of a story. But being someone who can listen to others and just be there supporting others is such a strong, good, kind quality.

Can I kiss you? CAN I KISS YOU? That was soft, that was tender, that was timid ,that was romantic. This is the kind of man you want Archie to be. And Josie is just the right person to bring that side out of him. They are electric together, they have a kinship, they have an understanding of one another that no one else can see or understand. I wish them the best of luck because this is an Archie Andrews I can get behind and I’d hate to see him go.
