Constantly repeating to myself “you are not broken you are young and learning how to live” during everything I do everywhere I go all the time
every woman 20 years older than you who you admire had to sit on the floor of her bathroom and wail more than once to get where she is these things have to happen will happen will be useful to you someday
This is half a thought but it’s so… when a woman complains about feeling lonely or not finding the romance she desires, so many men will spring up to say “well as a woman you can find sex basically anywhere, all you have to do is make yourself available” like 1) as if the cure to loneliness is sex and 2) as if sex with someone you don’t desire is a stand in for a romantic relationship… it’s so depressing that even when you’re not having sex you will still be reduced to a sex object lol
Not to be dramatic and i say this so often but i really love this community of like women in our early 20s posting about our little lives and all that we love and all that we struggle with it’s been such a comforting space for me 💐🤍

ruthless feminine rules:
1. you must be willing to walk away at all times. doesn’t matter what you feel, how well they meant, how good they are, as soon as you feel icky, you take yourself and leave.
2. you must be disciplined enough yourself to discipline men. that means: no yelling, no paragraphs, no over explaining. actions.
3. stay far away from people who try to humble you (especially men).
4. you must reward inconsistency with unavailability.
5. a man is worth nothing unless and until he has provided you enough financial resources and consistent respectful communication.
6. you must dress well, eat well, take care of your health,looks, finances regardless of how you feel.
7. same rules for everybody in this world. your sense of self does not give people discounts.
