Its like I’m tryin’ to tell myself somethin’. Like I’m tryin’ to make a point......
Plot twist: Sometimes you have the same questions at 30.
listen… i’m a lesbian and i know full well what oppression based on love is like… but i wish white gay folks wouldn’t act like sexuality is the only reason anyone’s ever felt that
there are people in my family who’ve been disowned because they married someone of a different colour to them… i’m mixed race and the very concept of my existence would’ve been illegal in the us when my parents were born. the supreme court only ruled against discrimination of mixed-race marriages in 1967! that’s barely 50 years ago. homophobia is an awful thing to experience and i know that from first hand experience but i’m begging you to remember that gay people aren’t the only ones being killed for who they love. please remember the struggles faced by Black and brown people when you talk about oppression. please have some solidarity with your nonwhite friends (especially your nonwhite gay friends!) when you talk about dismantling the systems that keep us alone and isolated. please remember the horrible history that is anti-miscegenation laws when you talk about equal marriage rights, because they aren’t just for white gay people.
this is okay for white people to reblog
This is the look the Doctor gives you when you interrupt his date with Clara.
Fortunately, all was forgiven. Twelve showed the soldiers his psychic paper and he and Clara continued on to their space restaurant.
Hahaha. Okay, so this never really happened. It’s just my alternate version of SLEEP NO MORE where the Doctor and Clara visit a space station that was orbiting Venus in the 38th century.
Although not one of my favorites, this episode (which aired 3 years ago today) did offer a great many Whouffaldi moments in between the confusing plot line and the distracting camera angles. After all, this was the episode where Clara assumed that Twelve had brought her to a Japanese restaurant for a date in space.
And, also, let’s not forget this:
And, I must say, I liked how Moffat made the title sequence into a “find-a-word” puzzle with the Doctor and Clara’s names intersecting. Just as it should be. Nicely done.
All and all, I guess Sleep No More is not a total snooze fest.

Today, we’re highlighting the third Weasley brother, Percy Weasley!
Percy is ambitious and known to follow the rules. He wasn’t one to play, joke, or prank, making him the oddball of the family. While at Hogwarts, he was successful in becoming Prefect for Gryffindor and eventually Head Boy. He also received twelve O.W.L.s. Percy is described in the books as being proud and vocal about his achievements. Percy was also the first owner of the family pet rat, “Scabbers”. Scabbers is passed down to Ron who we eventually learn is Peter Pettigrew.
His success landed him a position in the Ministry of Magic. He worked in an office handling paperwork for Barty Crouch Sr. as an assistant, and then went on to work as Fudge’s assistant. During this time, the Ministry did not believe Voldemort was back and rising to power. With Percy’s new position, came a concern for the Order of the Phoenix. Percy, the only Weasley to not join the Order of the Phoenix. Ultimately, leading to a family disagreement and parting ways.
During this time, Percy continued to work for the Ministry. While we see him in the background during Harry’s hearing for underage magic and again in helping Dolores Umbridge to uncover “Dumbledore’s Army” at Hogwarts. He also arrives alongside Fudge at the end of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix where they witness Voldemort. He continues to work at the ministry, refusing to meet with his family. Missing Bill’s wedding, the ministry became under attack and Percy contacted Aberforth Dumbledore and learned what was happening.
Percy eventually reconciled with his family just before the Battle of Hogwarts and joined the battle against Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Afterwards, he continued working at the Ministry as the Head of the Magical Transportation Department and married a lady named Audrey and had two daughters, Molly and Lucy. While Percy and his family disagreed, he ultimately came back to help when needed!
I appreciate two Weasleys and they are Molly and Arthur Weasley. All other Weasley’s can take a long walk off a short pier.
PFFBT.
Several people have asked me if I thought the Raven Queen would consider Angus her grandson! No relationship in this family is typical, but I think Her Majesty gets along great with anyone who isn’t skittish around death, and that absolutely includes Literal Homicide Detective Angus McDonald.
(646): I’ll have you know my trust issues and my daddy issues are two COMPLETELY different topics of conversation.

the next patch we deserve. BLIZZARD MAKE IT HAPPEN
I stan Severus Snape for eternity.
People in their early twenties still refer to people older than them as “adults”. When do you think they stop… and realize… they are adults
I’m not an adult, I’m a child with a drinking permit.
drinking permit
“What’s that in your sippy cup?”
“Vodka.”
If I ever watch Black Sails, I’m going to be haunted by the knowledge that Miss Piggy dated both Silver and Flint. The latter isn’t even out of character, because I guarantee Piggy has dated some gay guys in her time.
can we just collectively agree as a generation that we aren’t going to care if each other’s houses are clean when we visit bc im gettin real sick of the “the house has to be spotless or our guests will judge us” deal my parents got goin on
none of us in this generation is going to be able to afford a house.
