Regina is a Late Latin and Modern Italian feminine noun and name meaning “Queen”. Mills refers to the Greek word “Milo” meaning “Apple” which is a direct reference to her poisoning Snow White, and then unintentionally poisoning Henry and her apple tree. Also, her grandfather worked as a miller.

give me two characters who are each other’s home. two characters who feel completely safe, warm and protected in each other’s presence, and who are completely respected by the other. two people who, on some level or another, were missing that little extra spark they needed to feel fully confident and accepted as their whole selves until the other came along. they don’t “fix each other” or “make each other better”–they give the other the support they need to build on what was already inside them. sure they might kiss, or make goo-goo eyes, but they can also just…talk, and make each other laugh and smile, because for once they feel comfortable enough in themselves and with each other to be vulnerable in that way. two complete people who finally find someone to share all of themselves with. and no matter what they do or how far they go, they’ll always have each other to come back home to.

How about you guys use an amazing thing called IMAGINATION and fill in the blanks and understand that they were literally in close quarters for at least a portion of the war and fell in love because THEY KNEW EACH OTHER FOR YEARS

Agreed 100%. Let’s take a minute and go back to Agent Carter season 1. Peggy and some of the SSR guys meet up with Dum Dum Dugan and some of the Howling Commandos for a mission. The SSR guys are starstruck and ask about how the Commandos fought with Captain America.
Dugan answers that yes, they did. “But not as long as she did.” And he nods at Peggy.
What the movie didn’t show is that Peggy supposedly went on missions with the Howling Commandos and Captain America during the war. She’s been part of the team all along, not just sitting in a secure office taking flags off a map.
Then Peggy tells back “He would say ‘Do as Peggy says!!”. Clearly Steve and Peggy spent time working together during the 1.5-2 years they had together during the war. The movie might not show it all, but the characters tell you it happened. (Plus we get the added bonus that Steve believed in Peggy’s capabilities during a mission, and wouldn’t have treated her like a damsel in distress)
