i'm sorry for taking so long to respond to this! its an incredibly difficult thing you're going through, and unfortunately i don't have answers. My own practice of Christianity is so entangled with community due to being a minister, so I'm afraid I don't know anything about solitary practice. That being said, I want you to know that there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a private faith. Simone Weil, for example, had such incredible insights into God and the world without ever formally joining the Church.
A book I recently began reading is "Redeeming Power: Understanding Authority and Abuse in the Church" which probably won't tell you anything new, but may provide comfort and validity to your experiences.
