One of my OTHER favorite things about Pathologic 2 is how Artemy is independently reverse-adopted by two separate children over the course of the game. Sticky and Murky knew each other but they didn’t decide on it together or anything. They each decided, on their own, to show up in the Haruspex’s weird basement-lab-hideout and tell him “hey you’re my dad now” and he just rolled with it like “i guess I’m a dad now”
