The Palestinian Andromeda
-
There are a few different interpretations of the myth of Andromeda from Greek Mythology ( the princess chained to a rock to be saved by Perseus), the tale references both Palestinian and Ethiopian origins, in some myths describing her father and mother to be the rulers of the Kingdom of Jaffa (Palestine), I wanted to honor both as presenting her as a Palestinian Princess of Ethiopian origin. The myth especially means a lot to me as a Palestinian who’s family was ethnically cleansed from Jaffa in the 1940s, a tale from home.

once again my detailed WIPs haunt me
OH I didn't know that! I thought it was a replacement entirely thats cool. Oh gosh your right though her armor looks way better like this. I'm a huge sisters of battle fan and hated that they kept the boob plate when they redesigned them. More skulls would be appropriate though, not very imperial unless every picture reminds you that only in death does duty end haha
Love the sisters. They are such a fun and great army. The triumph of st katherine aka the coffin dance is an S Tier model. If I weren't such a Necron Guy I would run a sisters army for sure and then cry into my empty wallet
Is your art of greyfax before or after her capture? I noticed she's missing her robo eye and wearing armor that looks more predated to 30k. Its a very good rendition of her though! I love all the details you put in her.
After. Psyocculums are "worn over the eye(s)" and can also be integrated into visors (see the Grey Knights) so they don't necessarily have to be implants. I HC that her facial scar is from another unrelated incident, and that she can take the psyocculum on and off.
Her armour I just wanted to make look somewhat practical lmao. Could use some more skulls tho.....
