Pinhead explorations Last year I spent some time doing concept art for the recently released Hellraiser movie. I had to wait a year to be able to share these, but I'm really excited to finally be able to!
The really fleshy direction for Pinhead was in play really early, but I wanted to poke around all the possible ideas to make sure we had eyes on all of them before everything was settled. It's worth noting that this was before the part was cast, so there wasn't an opportunity to consider Jamie Clayton's face or body type.
I'm hoping it comes through in these paintings, I was trying to make Pinhead as sexy as possible while also being as gross as possible. Working to integrate deeply opposing traits is always so much fun and why I find this character so compelling.
it's june! OFMD S2 is confirmed and I've finally finished turning this old demin jacket into an EPIC GAY PIRATE JACKET. it took over a month and the snake tattoo thing made me want to launch myself into the sun. so overall it was great fun!

Too many of you believe that the evils of capitalism begin and end with whether or not workers get paid enough. But capitalism is inherently wasteful by design. It is resource intensive and exploitative by design. Even if we killed every billionaire and redistributed all their wealth tomorrow (a good thing) we would still have to restructure how we manage society from the ground up, globally.
And no, you as an individual are not responsible for figuring out all of the answers, sad white person. There are people all over the world already working on the solutions their communities need. We just have to empower them to make those solutions happen.
If the U.S. minimum wage became $25 tomorrow and everyone got universal healthcare, capitalism would still be bad because it would still be a system that prioritizes exponential and limitless economic growth over everything else.

#several times because despite my high red blood cell count and normal blood pressure im a big baby#once when i was at altitude in a cabin and i cracked my neck weird so i collapsed to the floor (i thought i actually died so i panicked)#then once i cut my finger on a can and it hurt a lot + i lost blood so i collapsed on the kitchen floor for a while#THEN i almost did when i got my nipple stitches out because oooo no thank you#finally i think i almost fainted when i recently got either the hepatitis b vaccine or some other and i had to lay down in the dr office#a lot is because i have a panic disorder actually
