the constant subtle unique ways house md establishes and reaffirms just how much house and wilson love each other genuinely floors me like the show isn’t about them and yet it’s always utterly completely about them

I think House would be a much better show if House and Wilson were canonically a couple. The dynamic of "I don't understand how good old Wilson can tolerate an asshole like House" but not as a friend but as a boyfriend. I don't need a big romance story, they are dating from the beginning of the show and all the other characters treat them the same way. The people in the hospital don't understand how they are together, but they seem happy in their own way. And House still makes the "but Wilson you're a married man!" joke, but it's much funnier.

the funniest thing about Hilson is the fact that Hugh started it pretty much. that one interview when he calls Wilson House’s best friend and some shit about if a tree falls in the forest and Wilson wasn’t around to hear it, did it really make a sound. any time someone’s like “is House going to fuck Wilson” he’s just like “I dunno but he should”. Hugh Laurie ran so we could walk. everyone say thank you Mr Laurie
