For the last day of #inktober this year I created my first ever plotter animation! This is an 8 frame animation based on my day 7 Inktober sketch. It's 8 frames of animation that each took about 45 minutes to plot (not counting setup time).

Creating this animation was a lot of fun. I'm not used to thinking through motion in the code for these things! Only one frame had to be redone, which was lucky! As is typical with me, I hopped right in with a fairly complex design instead of starting with a simple test.
I originally put the dice next to the postcards so I would know which frame was which, but putting them too close wound up being a happy accident. I really like how seeing them helps demonstrate the fact that this is a physical object.
The design itself was inspired by some of the background art in the Dope Rider comics.
