Chapter 3 | The Death Of Mine

chapter 2 | chapter 3 | chapter 4

The clouds were slowly covering the sky which made (Y/N) worry. She placed her fingers on the side window feeling cold on her skin and observed fleeting images of Birmingham's buildings. She believed it was a bad omen, that not only it persaged deppresing weather and rain but also the carousel of unpleasant events. She knew that it was just a superstition but somehow it made her feel uneasy because there she was, left by her father for God knows how long and… the ride was rather mentally tiring as Thomas was a driver who rarely opened his mouth. Additionally, Jane had to stay in a betting shop since there was a small sitting room upstairs which they turned into a small bedroom for the time she would be there. It was another punch for (Y/N) as she comprehended that she would be alone, even if her maid came with her to keep her company. She had the right to feel disappointed and nobody even tried to change it. As if her staying was just a formality.

BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SINCE APRIL
