Wow, studying the colors on the original actually made me appreciate it more. Then again, I didn't think too highly of the Mona Lisa until I started studying the colors of it.

I was working on the Heavy Metal Riker Wizard, and I was like, "You know who's really fucking metal? John Blanche. I want to try something like that."

Another Minuette piece. I'll do this request again with a less stylistic piece but I started drawing Min and got carried away. This is obviously a work in progress but it shouldn't take more than another session or two (and if I take much longer I failed my experiment with this).

I really liked the Conan parody version of this and wanted to explore it further before trying a different attempt. So, cleanup and some "inking" of the sketch to better visualize it.

Wow, paper. Haven't used that in a while.
Also, my scanner is totally borked. Or something. It pretty much killed the levels on these and I had to fix them heavily afterward (but still suffered a serious quality loss). I don't know what I'll do in the future if I have to do this again.
