Where am I
Sobbing, crying, shitting, etc
Ok I'm sorry for shoving this in your face again but like. He didn't just say that trans men and women are real. He didn't say there were three genders. He didn't do that, he said there was a spectrum. He insisted it was a spectrum, and he's fucking right.
Did he do actual damn research??? I would assume that this isn't basic common knowledge to a guy like him. He legit took the time to research this, and is still a huge piece of shit afterwards. What the fuck. What the FUCK.
IS HE GETTING A GODDAMN REDEMPTION ARC
"trans women are women and they belong IN THE KITCHEN"
did you really ask if the man on trial for sex trafficking and rape is getting a redemption arc because he said water is wet
[Translation: Ex military accused of Victor Jara's assassination lost the american nationality: lied to obtain it]
Allow me to elucidate, @a-sour-nectarine
When most people "roll their eyes", they flick their eyes directly upward, usually as far as they comfortably go, then resume looking normally.
When someone who learned the phrase before the behavior does it, they usually go in a circular (ish) motion. Since most eye movements are lines, it's usually pretty triangular: the key points are usually a diagonal up one way, then to the far other side, then to a diagonal low the first way. Thus, the eyes basically make a loop, so they "rolled".
I've found that when people who learned the up-down way first try the circular motion, they might risk motion sickness, so experiment carefully.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN MOST PEOPLE JUST LOOK UP
This is Beebee! She enjoys squanking, writhing in the sun, and her personal puppy dog
Sometimes twitter be hitting
This is even funnier with context attached
My relationship with this musical in a nutshell
A few performance photos captured of Sam Bateson as Mistoffelees in Cast 13 of the Oasis of the Seas.
With Peter James Lake as Old Deuteronomy, Jarrad Green as Rum Tum Tugger, Phoebe Charles as Demeter, Issy Moore as Victoria, and Logan Mortier as Munkustrap.

imo if you’re going to call yourself queer and seek out queer community, you need to let go of the idea that the way people identify, present, and choose to interact with other queer people can be labeled and explained. queerness is about saying “fuck societal norms” and sometimes those societal norms include what you think lesbians, gay men, trans people, women, etc. look like, act like, sleep with, etc. queerness is in direct opposition to hard lines and strict definitions. if you are uncomfortable with that, you’re probably not ready to fully immerse in the queer community. get used to being confused and freaked out. that’s the point. celebrate it.
hey kids following me seriously don’t smoke…i know the commercials are fucking annoying but that doesn’t make it worth it and quitting is hard, i haven’t had a cig in like six months and i still get bad cravings and think about smoking every other day
that includes vaping, ESPECIALLY cheap vapes you buy online from like e-bay. If you’re going to vape then get a good-quality one from a reputable source otherwise it can hurt you really badly. But don’t start a nicotine addiction if you don’t already have one. It’s really, really not worth it. I’m not going to use scare tactics or bash you or talk down to you if you already smoke or vape but it’s just some friendly advice.
People are reblogging this with tags like “why would you have a nicotine addiction, idiots, its boring/only for edgy points, smoke weed instead” and that just so utterly misses the point of my post…I didn’t start smoking for “edgy points”, I started because I grew up around a family that smokes, I was stressed as hell, and just that first cig made me feel better in the moment.
I get what you’re trying to say but you have to understand that there are kids who grow up on tobacco, there are kids who don’t know how else to cope, there are kids who think it’s a small way to rebel against someone who hasn’t treated them fairly. Most of these kids are in poverty or are seriously struggling. It’s not fair to label them as nothing but attention seeking morons.
This falls into the category of “making kids feel like shit for smoking” which you shouldn’t do. It only breeds resentment and kids don’t deserve to feel that way.
in full disclosure when i was at my worst mental health wise i debated starting to smoke every day exactly because i KNEW it was harmful and it would just bring me slowly closer to death
please, PLEASE take care of yourselves.
let me stress one more time: smoking is addiction. no matter what it is: tobacco, vape, weed - there are serious concequences to your health (and money), and it’s quite hard to stop doing it.
it’s better to never start smoking - it’s easier and better choice in long run (and for every idiot that pressures you to start smoking - tell them to fuck themselves with whatever they smoke).
Don’t start smoking unless you want to ruin every long flight or long train ride or anything where you’re forced to be inside for a long period of time and unable to smoke. Smoking makes these situations like long flights, train rides, or anything that makes you stuck inside for a while complete agony. Don’t start in the first place.
If you’re currently on HRT or planning to get surgery, smoking can be *especially* dangerous and may prevent you from receiving that care.
Please know, I’m not sharing this information as scare tactic, but rather trans folks are often not given this information or have providers who aren’t aware of it.
You matter. Your body and health matters. We’re here for you ❤
Smoking and vaping is fucking rampant among people with EDs so
was unaware of those last two bits. and to my followers, PLEASE don’t start. its totally not worth it. I come from a family of smokers and had my experiences with it too. not fun in the slightest and just ends badly if you let it continue.
I want to add that the same two points about smoking while on estrogen also apply to people who use oral contraceptives (that contain estrogen) and smoke.
still so fucking weird to go from real life, where a cis man being flamboyant/effeminate/camp is judged like 70+% by how he speaks and carries himself, to online queer communities, which often seem to have no concept of male gender non-conformity that doesn’t involve wearing a skirt
i promise you, a man can be fem to the point of being in danger while wearing literally exactly the same thing as a hypermasculine guy. a boring basic black suit. a t shirt and jeans. a UNIFORM. gender conformity is not only about what you wear
None of you have watched that heartbreaking scene in The Birdcage where Albert gives up wearing everything he likes to try and blend in for their son’s conservative prospective in-laws and is so awkward and uncomfortable that no one says much until finally he says, defeated, “I know what you’re thinking - dressed like this, I’m even more obvious, aren’t I?” and it shows.
Here, have your queer heart broken:
This is what I’m talking about. This is still literally how it is in most places in the Midwest if you’re trying to “pass” for straight/cis/whatever.
I cannot begin to describe how hard I cried when I saw this scene the first time and how confused my conservative family was as to why I was crying.
It’s so funny how literally the way a man holds his wrists is an indication of femininity but also people think it’s all about makeup and clothing. But we’re also at a point that if you have a suit that is any color other than black, dark grey, or navy, it’s flamboyant.
Men’s sartorial stylings are so rigidly controlled it’s painful. Tim Gunn here is at the very absolute bleeding edge of “acceptably masculine” here for most cishet men, just for some noticible stripes, patterns, and purple, and that’s before he even moves. This is how restricted it is.
But Trixie Mattel (out of drag here) wearing standard masculine garb is could still be deemed unacceptably feminine for body language alone.
This is why we talk about “toxic masculinity” – the idea that any expression of emotion besides anger or even wearing colorful clothes is non-masculine and therefore restricted is horrifying. It sucks! Men should be allowed to express themselves outside of a tiny box of acceptable behavior, because they’re, y'know, people, and people have a wide range of expression in the way they like to look and move and act. I honestly feel like it’s gotten worse over the last couple decades, too. If you look at men’s fashions from the 70s and even into the 80s, there’s a lot of style choices that look pretty cringe to us, but…. you also see a lot more color and pattern in suits than you do now. I’m not sure when this started to shift, or if it’s tied in to the increasing lack of color in all consumer products, but it sucks.
Yeah I'm not letting this stay in the tags. Your thoughts are on my blog now
I showed this post to my boyfriend and he tried to take his shirt off like a girl and
uh
yeah
Out of the 82k notes my post got this is by far the best comment holy shit thank u for being u
So i tried it both ways and uh
i mean how do you do the first one without pulling out all your hair?
this made me laugh really hard….
and it made me realize that girls and boys pull their shirt off differently. /amazed
but seriously I think girls just do the cross arm thing because of HAIR like demonstrated
So one year, one URL change, and a hair cut later, I decide to try again… FOR SCIENCE!
Its not science unless you write it down so
First method:
Well done, i guess…
Second:
I fucked up
Girls… how?
I DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW WE CAN HAVE SUCH DIFFERENT WAYS OF TAKING OFF SHIRTS AND SO MUCH DIFFICULTY DOING IT THE OTHER WAY
I FIGURED IT OUT!!!!!
It’s all in the way that girl/boys shirts are made.
Girls shirts have less armpit room then boy’s do and are generally shorter so pulling it off over your head is more practical because by lifting your arms all the way up you make enough room for the sleeves to just slip off.
Boys shirts have more room and are generally longer so it is easy to slip them off over your head.
but if you take a girls shirt off like a boys shirt you will get your arms caught because there isn’t much armpit space.
and if you take a boys shirt off like a girls shit you will still have your head in it when you’ve lifted your arms all the way up because of the shirt’s length.
It has nothing to do with us. It is entirely to do with how our shirts are made. I figured it out for you. YOU’RE WELCOME!
bless you
look what is back on my dash. Jesus.
This came back but with ACTUAL SCIENCE you are the saviour of our generation
I have no words
I seriously just needed this
This deserves the 1 million+ notes it has.
Literally tumblr broke from sll the science
OK, there’s a lot of people who’ve seen way more stuff on here than I have, but that is NOT a normal glitched gif…
wait wHat i got it too
Y’all I can do it both ways really easily, and actually do the “girl” way more even though I wear guys shirts so idk
WHAT WAS THE THIRD GIF? I GOT THE GLITCH? (TUMBLR LET ME SAVE THE GLITCH?)
TUMBLR WTF?
Sometimes I wonder about this website.
