ok but. where would they get it. because classically Dawson would sell this but we all know there is no way in rayl he’s giving them access to an item they might use on him. so that leaves… who??? they might have gotten it from estra/new estra or the dwarven kingdom, but estra feels too religious to have god repellent. I think the dwarves would assume their metal can protect them but that said it could make sense for them to have some sort of cold-iron-infused spray for when they go trade on other continents? so the dwarves are probably their best bet but who within the dwarves would give it to them?swan maybe but he doesn’t seem the type to have access to trade stuff. they might have gotten some from the lesbians who made their cool new weapons? but that feels unlikely too. of course selni comes to mind but I think she’d want to save hers as a backup plan/secret weapon. she’s the most likely though
My friend Dawson May not sell them items they could use on him but you know who would? who craves chaos???? The Kaloni (deffo did not spell that right)
Torvah’s symbol is the broken tower and it’s been mentioned that all the other gods have symbols. I wonder what Falen’s symbol is? Or what Maeris will be.
My idea for it would be some type of weed-like flower. Specifically a dandelion cuz like they’re known for being able to grow anywhere. And during her speech as she named herself she said (paraphrasing) “to be mortal is to survive” and so I think that something like that would be fitting.
Yess!!! The dandelion seeds connecting the fall of Estra!! Brilliant I hadn’t even thought of that!!
I also think it’s be neat for like Maeri’s symbol to be the flower in bloom yellow petals on one side and full fluff on the other. Kinda a representation of her desire to remain mortal vs coming into her own as a god
Also, I think Falen as a mask would be cool. Maybe with a dagger through it? For like betrayed. Would have double meaning now that he’s been clopped.
oh my god dandelion is so perfect for her!!! I’ve been doing golden teardrop for maeri and the little dagger with the blood droplet from the patreon page for falen, because yknow backstabbing… his poisoned daggers… just felt like it fit?
It’s been a bit now all my sketches for failing symbol are either a mask with a dagger through the eye holes or a hand grabbing a dagger by the blade.
I don’t usually post art but this is my take on the Gods under Iol as described on the lore website. It took so long but I was very proud of how it turned out. I’m working on the others but idk if I’ll post those

Shhh I’m hailing a brain wave.
We know Maeri’s tear tracks are a direct manifestation of overusing her powers without a name. However, we also know that overexertion of magic has different effects on different gods. (For example : Kai not being able to hold a single shape / beast form and Falen being clopped)
With these examples there is an important common ground that the way the “defects” manifest are related to the gods title. If that makes sense.
Like, Kai is the sacrifice, so her form in the void (in her realm) shifts between her daughters which she sacrificed. And outside her realm she takes the shape of the three beast gods which sacrificed themselves so she and Estra would live.
A much more noticeable connection is Falen’s “defect” which is a version of himself that betrays his desires.
Ok ok so my theory is, Maeri’s tear tracks aren’t specifically her “defect” from overusing her magic. I think it’s scarring in general. Like, the thing about surviving is that it leaves scars, either physically (burns, surgery scars, etc.) or mentally (ptsd, survivors guilt, etc.). So if Maeri continues to overuse her magic she’ll become covered in golden scars to the point where they make up most of her skin. Golden skin? Hmmm. Where have I heard that before? 🤔
Anyway all that to say that the time Maeri was holding the shield nearly killed her and it makes me really sad.
Thinking long and hard tonight boys.
No fear
“Bad Falen saying he does whatever betrays his counterpart followed by saying he would never hurt Fran implying “good” Falen would.”
One Fear.

The poisoning raging sword of doom is far from the first sword Takko owned, during the SC he and Lup would compete for who could gained the most extravagant sword in a cycle (only obtaining one per cycle.) and while Lup would drop this habit after getting out of the umbrastaff, Takko always has at least three baller ass sword on display around his and Kravitz’s house. The swords do get regularly swapped out for others in storage in the attic, and Kravitz will regularly add sword he comes across.

Addition: The Flaming Raging Posioning Sword of Doom is actually from the SC. Taako and Lup tried to swindle it from the creater (the top student at their artificer school on the same plane Lup made the umbrastaff). Taako tried first and didn’t succeed, Lup however did and she gives him so much shit for it. Flash forward to now It ended up in the Fantasy Costco due to shenanigans.

people really liked the Lup theme, so heres another one that griffin was too much of a coward too give a theme. if you cant tell by my, well, everything, i am absolutely in love with Kravitz and everything about him. he deserves a theme, but i think he was introduced at a small time where griff really wasnt sure what to do with his music. so here i am, 5 years after Kravitz was introduced and 4 years after the podcast is over giving him his own theme. y’know, like he deserves. (i actually made this a few months ago and forgot to post it here but shhh)
im bringin back wearing ties with t shirts and longsleeve shirts under short sleeves. whos with me
this is fashion like This is it.

Ok but like, when it’s chilly outside and I have to work in the drive through I will always put a thin short sleeve shirt (sometimes with thumb wholes) under my work shirt because it’s against dress code to to cover the brand name on your shirt. Anyway I would love if this style got brought back.
I want to live by myself when I move out of my parent's place but I'm really afraid of money problems? I'm afraid that the only place I can afford will be in the ghetto and it'll all be torn apart and I'll only be allowed to eat one granola bar a week. I'm really stressing out about this. I don't know anything about after school life. I don't know anything about paying bills or how to buy an apartment and it's really scaring me. is there anything you know that can help me?

Once you’ve looked over all those cool links, I have some general advice for you on how you can have some sort of support system going for you:
Reasons to move out of home
You may decide to leave home for many different reasons, including:
- wishing to live independently
- location difficulties – for example, the need to move closer to university
- conflict with your parents
- being asked to leave by your parents.
Issues to consider when moving out of home
It’s common to be a little unsure when you make a decision like leaving home. You may choose to move, but find that you face problems you didn’t anticipate, such as:
- Unreadiness – you may find you are not quite ready to handle all the responsibilities.
- Money worries – bills including rent, utilities like gas and electricity and the cost of groceries may catch you by surprise, especially if you are used to your parents providing for everything. Debt may become an issue.
- Flatmate problems – issues such as paying bills on time, sharing housework equally, friends who never pay board, but stay anyway, and lifestyle incompatibilities (such as a non-drug-user flatting with a drug user) may result in hostilities and arguments.
Your parents may be worried
Think about how your parents may be feeling and talk with them if they are worried about you. Most parents want their children to be happy and independent, but they might be concerned about a lot of different things. For example:
- They may worry that you are not ready.
- They may be sad because they will miss you.
- They may think you shouldn’t leave home until you are married or have bought a house.
- They may be concerned about the people you have chosen to live with.
Reassure your parents that you will keep in touch and visit regularly. Try to leave on a positive note. Hopefully, they are happy about your plans and support your decision.
Tips for a successful move
Tips include:
- Don’t make a rash decision – consider the situation carefully. Are you ready to live independently? Do you make enough money to support yourself? Are you moving out for the right reasons?
- Draw up a realistic budget – don’t forget to include ‘hidden’ expenses such as the property’s security deposit or bond (usually four weeks’ rent), connection fees for utilities, and home and contents insurance.
- Communicate – avoid misunderstandings, hostilities and arguments by talking openly and respectfully about your concerns with flatmates and parents. Make sure you’re open to their point of view too – getting along is a two-way street.
- Keep in touch – talk to your parents about regular home visits: for example, having Sunday night dinner together every week.
- Work out acceptable behaviour – if your parents don’t like your flatmate(s), find out why. It is usually the behaviour rather than the person that causes offence (for example, swearing or smoking). Out of respect for your parents, ask your flatmate(s) to be on their best behaviour when your parents visit and do the same for them.
- Ask for help – if things are becoming difficult, don’t be too proud to ask your parents for help. They have a lot of life experience.
If your family home does not provide support
Not everyone who leaves home can return home or ask their parents for help in times of trouble. If you have been thrown out of home or left home to escape abuse or conflict, you may be too young or unprepared to cope.
If you are a fostered child, you will have to leave the state-care system when you turn 18, but you may not be ready to make the sudden transition to independence.
If you need support, help is available from a range of community and government organisations. Assistance includes emergency accommodation and food vouchers. If you can’t call your parents or foster parents, call one of the associations below for information, advice and assistance.

Things to remember
- Try to solve any problems before you leave home. Don’t leave because of a fight or other family difficulty if you can possibly avoid it.
- Draw up a realistic budget that includes ‘hidden’ expenses, such as bond, connection fees for utilities, and home and contents insurance.
- Remember that you can get help from a range of community and government organizations.

writing advice: never italicize words to show emphasis! if you’re writing well then the reader will know and you don’t need them!
me: oh really??? listen up, pal, you can just try an pull italics from my cold, dead fingers
I feel this on a spiritual level.
bringing back this great example.
I can and will italicize the fuck out of my writing, thank you very much.
you can pry italics out of my cold dead hands
Boldimg and italics are both very important thank you very much
So
You can pry them both out of my cold, dead hands.
For me bold and italics are so important. They break up the page and let my mind focus on the words again.
Also, it adds a lot of flavor to how I read at least. Like italics makes my brain elongate a word while bold shortens it in my head???? Idk but like...
You can pryyy these sexy letters out of my cold. Dead. Hands.
