Not A Fandom Account

Krakoa, Gray, Timothy, Rahne, etc. 21. He/thon. I am cringe but I am free. Don't bring your discourse here it ain't welcome. Holder of issues and problems. Incredibly normal about baseball and also the Mountain Goats.

Obligatory Pinned Info Post

Time to subject myself to the mortifying ordeal of being known. Hi. I'm Krakoa, or Gray, or (probably) Timothy. What's the "probably" for? System babey! This blog was created by me, Timothy Lawrence of the Library of Krakoa System. Another system member who is using this blog quite a bit is Rahne Sinclair. This blog has no topic only vibes. Despite the URL and theming, this is not a fandom blog.

Some info for everyone:

  • "I/We" will probably be used interchangeably quite a bit.
  • If you involve me in discourse of any kind I will bite you.
  • We post a lot. Like a lot a lot. Like “hits post limit sometimes” a lot. You have been warned.
  • I likely will not ever post a "system list" or whatever. Those who wish to be known of online will make their presence known.
  • Our system identifies as nonhuman. Individual identities differ but we collectively identify as werewolf and mutant. Don’t like it? Argue with the wall (the block button).
  • I (Timothy) am fictosexual/romantic. This means that I am (primarily) attracted to fictional characters. I consider myself to be in romantic relationships with many of my sourcemates.
  • Mutuals can ask for posts to be tagged for the purposes of filtering.

Tag list: #krakoa is for all qutants (queue tag), #timothy gushes (timothy’s ficto/self-shipping posts), #rahne gushes (rahne’s ficto/self-shipping posts), #krakoan wereposting (werewolf posting), #krakoan wednesdayposting (posting about Wednesday tv show), #krakoan tmg posting (posting about the band The Mountain Goats), #detective bb(girl) (posting about the Knives Out movies), #krakoan borderlandsposting (posting about the Borderlands games), #krakoan original (our original posts), #rahne Sinclair autobiography (real) (updates about rahne’s WIP autobiographical fic), #krakoan basedballposting (posts about baseball)

Short-staffing has become a major problem in all sectors. Retail, food service, health care, education, factory production lines, call centers, child care, IT, office support staff, etc. Every corner of our society and economy.

Now we know that even in creative spaces employers are not willing to hire sufficient staff to accomplish necessary tasks, demand workers do more than their fair share of work, for longer hours, without fair compensation or reasonable breaks/time off.

This needs to stop.

some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?” and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is “unofficial”, and we know that’s not the right word, but it’s the only word we can come up with…until finally it’s like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is “artificial”.

I couldn't remember the word "doorknob" ten minutes ago.
