“I’ve always been stubborn As in I’ll stay awake until my eyes are painted red and dripping at a blank screen I’ll do anything to avoid my mind’s colorful adaptation of your love No, not our love Yours, and hers Hard and soft in all the places that make me want to scream until you can’t hear the love in her voice That used to be mine I’ll painfully sit here and watch you experience all of the senses with any girl you like But don’t you dare come back Don’t beg me for something more, a love deeper than your body Because I don’t trust myself not to show you again”

“Never apologize for how you feel. No one can control how they feel. The sun doesn’t apologize for being the sun. The rain doesn’t say sorry for falling. Feelings just are.”

The only memory
The darkness looming from the woods,
Our only enemy to get in the way
Saw the trees dancing,
Heard the leafs laughing,
We could’ve joined them any day.
When fear paralyzed my every move,
You were right there by my side
Holding your arms around my body,
Making sure I was all right
You made me feel like nothing bad could ever happen
But like most things in life, that was short lived too
One blink and the moment slipped away
If I knew who ruined it, I swear I’d ruin them!
I wanted to stop time, keep the world at distance
Embrace eternity right there, right then
The light from our eyes would’ve been enough
To guide us through the night, to carve our own fate.
If we’ll ever meet again, I’ll let you know
A part of me was left there waiting,
Hoping and believing one day you might return
Until then I’ll confess something:
That moment with you is the only memory worth retaining.
