Plot twist: I’m three decades old now and well equipped to be everyone else’s parent on this hellsite.

Due to some unexpected vet expenses and other things, I’m selling off extra straps! These were ordered from AmiAmi over the past year.

Straps are $10 each and that includes shipping to anywhere in the US. I am NOT doing international shipping at this time, sorry!

The cardboard box has been opened but not the plastic, and each will come with the box (flattened), all tucked inside a small padded envelope.

Charms will be shipped out as time permits (probably a weekend). I work a 9-5 job that makes it hard to get to the post office on time, so I’ll email you when it’s sent out.

i am sharing this on behalf of my friend sol, who has suffered extensive abuse and is currently in very dire circumstances. 

sol has suffered injuries to her body, her mind, her career, her finances—every area of her life has been deeply affected by the prolonged mistreatment she endured. she was forced into intimate contact with white supremacists, and her queer identity was used to sexually manipulate her. though she is no longer in this abusive relationship, the impact of that abuse persists. 

her ability to heal from her abuse has been hindered greatly by her lack of financial resources. after causing her to undergo frequent hospitalization, her abuser took control of her accounts and drained her finances, leaving her with a mountain of debt from his fraud and the medical expenses. on top of that, she is the sole financial provider for her family and was recently laid off. 

financial support is critical to the survival, safety, and recovery of those who have experienced abuse. as the youcaring link states, just one sexual assault can cost upwards of $122,461 per victim. this is an unimaginable cost for most individuals to shoulder alone, and it only deepens as the abuse increases in type and duration. 

i am asking you to PLEASE help sol survive in any way you can, even if your contribution is small. little donations can go a long way when added up, and every reblog spreads this link to a new person and increases the amount of visibility for our cause. sol deserves to reclaim everything that was taken from her, and your support will help her on that path.

Hey, uh, I wouldn’t normally do this but… money is tight right now and I have a lot of dental work ahead of me. If anyone could reblog this or whatever I’d appreciate it. Also sorry for the picture of my awful face, there are at least two cute cats to look at after it so it could be worse.

I normally don’t reblog stuff on this account, but this is my best friend who I’ve known since I was thirteen. That’s fifteen years and he is very important to me.
