• bakugou doesn’t like to nap. but kirishima does. sometimes bakugou will just lie in bed reading or watching a movie and cuddle kirishima while he sleeps.
• in the beginning of them dating kirishima went through a phrase of trying every pet name he could think of. “handsome” “baby” “cutie pie” “buttercup” “honey” “boomy” “darling” “sweet cheeks” “boo”
• bakugou only accepts being called “babe” in private.
• kirishima once woke bakugou up at 3 in the morning bc he saw a cute video of a dog and had to show it to baku right then and there.
• kirishima gives bakugou little rocks going “look my child”. bakugou keeps them all.
• they have plant pets in their dorm room that they take care of together. kirishima named them all. kirishima also yells at bakugou when he curses at the plants.
• the bakusquad started a tiktok page called “keeping up with kiribaku”. they post videos of them interviewing the couple (only kirishima responds to their questions), sneaking around to spy on them, and barging into their rooms unexpectedly. all of class1a follows it. so does midnight.
• bakugou and kirishima were kissing in the kitchen late one night when they thought no one was around. denki and sero made an entire salad without them noticing. and then denki sat down across the counter and yelled “seriously right in front of my salad” while sero recorded it. this went on their tiktok page. its their most viewed one.
• aizawa had to stop pairing them up for training exercises bc they kept flirting the entire time.
• bakugou is a giant book nerd. kirishima is a slow reader so he doesn’t really enjoy it. but he likes when bakugou reads aloud to him. bakugou reads to him all his favorite books as a kid.
• bakugou is a giant percy jackson fan. he never admits it to anyone but the concept of being a demigod is badass to him. he makes kirishima take “who is your godly parent” quizzes. bakugou always gets either hephaestus (god of fire and metalworking) or hades (god of the underworld). kirishima always gets apollo (god of the sun and also manly beauty).
• kirishima always checks in on bakugou before he goes to bed. bakugou is usually already sleeping. kirishima will go tuck him in and give him a kiss on the forehead. bakugou often wakes up but likes when kirishima does this so he doesn’t say anything.
• bakugou made kirishima a playlist of songs that reminds him of kiri. kirishima listens to it whenever he’s away at his internship or visiting home and misses bakugou.
• in 3rd year before graduation when kirishima and bakugou were out in the city. they kept seeing signs for open houses for apartments throughout the city. kiri thought it would be fun to pretend to be a newly wed couple and look through them. this was how they found the apartment they got together after they graduated.
• once in the changing room koda saw a bite mark on kirishima’s hip. koda was like wow that must have been a huge bug to do something like that. no one had the heart to correct him. (denki jokingly asked bakugou to give him a bug bite too. and got a palm of sparks to the face)
• kirishima learned to cook to surprise bakugou with dinner one night. he always make bakugou miso soup when he isn’t feeling well now.
• once while out shopping a guy kept flirting with kirishima who was oblivious. bakugou got jealous walked over to kirishima kissed him on the cheek and said “let’s go home babe”
• kirishima wanted to continue shopping but left anyway from being in a daze of bakugou being publicly affectionate and using a pet name.
• bakugou isn’t into pda. but once he got comfortable around class 1a he didn’t mind being affectionate towards kirishima in front of them. now he’ll just plop himself down into kirishima’s lap wherever they are in the dorm.
