One year after our prologue and no matter how many times Leo sits through his sessions with Kitsune, he can’t shake the familiarity that plagues him every time those two turtles interfere with any Foot Clan mission.

Karai is only too happy to watch Leo implode. She’s sure once he does, it’ll allow her to finally prove to her father that she’s the stronger of his two protégées.

I'm 5'11, but in most casual conversations I'll say I'm 5'9. I do this purely for the chaos that it creates. Because everyone assumes that men only exaggerate their height up, it makes me look like the only person honestly describing their height and thus knocks at least 2 inches off everyone else's description. The panic that the 6'1 guys feel at the thought of being described as 5'11 is hard to understate. I have had people run back to their cars to grab tape measures. If I could get away with describing myself as 4'6 I would.

the majority of northern hemisphere dwellers (represented in this graph by Americans but afaik this applies across the northern hemisphere) are born in July-September (yet another reason astrology is nonsense) and the majority of southern hemisphere dwellers are born in summer for their hemisphere (December-February, roughly). in this poll we're seeing an almost equal distribution of birthdays, which we should not. possibly there is an an unusually high number of Australians on this site that are balancing out the North Americans, who are usually the largest geographical group on any website in the English-speaking internet? I have no idea.

it could also be that the birthdate scatter just isn't stronger than the percentage differences in this poll and I'm just bad at reading statistics, which is very likely

It's cold in his room.

Even under his blanket, with his mattress, with his pajamas, with the heaters Donnie has installed in each of their train cars, he's cold. A layer of frost has settled over his limbs, holding him heavy and sapping his energy, and he wants to sleep but the chill keeps him awake.

It's cold and it's dark and when it's like that, he has a hard time remembering that he's back.
