Fakemon Challenge #12 - KOMOZUNA (Fighting/Poison) The Heavyweight pokemon

It is based on Komodo Dragons and Sumo Wrestlers, because when komodo dragons fight they resemble sumo wrestlers

This pokemon uses is large and heavy tail to act as a counterweight so they can stand on its hind legs, giving its free use of its arms. Before any fight this pokemon licks the palms of its hands, coating them with a powerful neurotoxin, allowing them to paralize its enemies with each blow.

When two KMOZUNAs fight, they start by performing a complex ritual before engaging,.walking in circles, dragging their heavy tails to create a round mark in the ground. similar to a ring

This pokemon signature move is Toxic Thrust, a move that is fighting and poison type at the same time.

I didn’t plan on making this a series but In keeping with my villain “reimaginings", I give you the queen of the seven seas herself, Ursula.

Like HIM, I wanted to keep somewhat true to the overall original design.

mermay is almost over and i just put a bunch of stuff on patreon so it won’t make it here for a few days but i figure there’s no harm in drip feeding some stuff that wasn’t made from prompts.

these are just some standard mermaid designs. i have some seal-like mermaids and i wanted some that are more whale but they ended up part whale and a tiny part sea serpent so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.  on land they move like something between a snake and a seal and they can unhinge their jaws if need be. the markings are tattoos that correspond with their pods and parentage, they usually only wear clothes to protect their bellies from sunburn or be polite to humans, and they’ve got incredibly little sexual dimorphisim.

The Sailor Mermaid gets it’s name for not only it’s impressive head sail but also it unique mode of transportation. Arguably one of the fastest of the Sirena family, the Sailor Maid or sometimes referred to as the Sail-Finned Maid will use the large fin much like a sailboat to aid in traveling vast distances in search of food. Their streamline bodies paired with this large sail make for a formidable predator. Mating pairs, using their head sails as barriers will often corral schools of fast moving prey between in order to feed.

Slide two: An example of the dimorphism found in the skulls of the Sirenia order.
