EMERGENCY VET HELP

Hey friends, I got home from work today and my little dog’s left eyeball is sticking TOO FAR out of his head and is all red. I have to take him to the emergency vet tonight but I have No money to spare, and the visit alone costs $282.50. IDK what they’ll need to do on top of that, but I just got denied for financing help (I don’t make enough money to borrow money what irony)

If you can spare anything to help me out I have to take him over there now, tonight, Thursday Apr. 27th. I have money in my bank account but it’s literally rent and my auto-paid bills and NOTHING extra in there right now.

This killed me when I saw it. I'd been looking at name sites on sources for "Nai" and "Vash", and (though the sources were iffy) those names do have thematic similarities. But "Kni"?? Nothin’. Does any language other than English do the silentK+N? So much for retroactively making “Knives” a chosen name and not a foregone conclusion.

Though, after thinking about it, Kni here was born ~430 years into our future. Languages change and intermix and people just get creative with syllables. So if parents today can come up with things like “Reighfyl”, I cannot say “Kni” is any worse.
