Why would you try to force three more Fantastic Beasts movies with a bunch of new, confusing, characters and a contrived plot, when you could have a movie with a premise so simple that it pretty much writes itself? (In fact, Pottermore already wrote it, you literally have everything you could possibly need!)
Step One: Have a Scottish witch be told that she could never work at 1950s Hogwarts because witches can’t be professors (let alone Deputy Headmistresses).
Step Two: Have her prove them dead wrong.
Portrayed by Keira Knightley:
Imagine her rising up in her classes. Impressing Dumbledore. Being told by the Ministry that no witch has ever taught at Hogwarts before. Having her own Elle Woods esque montage. Making an impassioned speech that two of the Founders were women. Getting the job. Choosing magic over love. Teaching the Marauders. Becoming a spy. Losing the Marauders. Watching over Harry.
Have Dame Maggie Smith make a cameo at the end. Like you know how On The Basis Of Sex did that ending scene where the young actress walks up the stairs and it fades to the real RBG? Have Keira walk up the marble staircase in the Entrance Hall and have it end with Dame Maggie Smith finishing the steps.
You’d have an Oscar before the first screening was even over, you cowards!
“It is part of her beauty, this quality of being not quite there, dreamlike.”
— Anaïs Nin
