Another D&D character from one of the games I run.
Cyrrus the Lark is a roguish troublemaker who masquerades as a glamorous bard.
Kappa are monsters that like to live in water. They aren't in D&D 5e, but should be. They have a dish that holds water on top of their heads that they can't let spill. They like cucumbers and sometimes drown people if they're feeling mean.
Kender are a small childlike race native to Krynn.
They have an insatiable curiosity and penchant for borrowing things without asking. This has given them a pretty bad reputation in some gaming circles.
Lamias are D&D monsters that look like lion centaurs. They are transformed devotees to the demon lord Graz'zt.
They're based on the Lamia of Greek myth, though most other depictions of that creature imagine a woman-serpent hybrid?
Nagas in Dungeons and Dragons are snakes with people heads.
There are good nagas and bad nagas. If they are killed, a naga's magic will bring it back to life.
The Collector Background for D&D 5E.
"You are an avid collector of some kind, and have devoted considerable time and energy towards this pursuit."
Inspired by the cool article by @JamesIntrocaso on @DnDBeyond . Feel free to comment here in the replies!
Another take on the gnoll. (I didn't love the last version I did.)
They're diabolical hyena-people known for eating people and each other.
Slaadi are extraplanar toad-things that hail from Limbo, a dimension that embodies the chaotic extreme of the law-chaos alignment axis.
Slaadi are known for their extremely bizarre and complex method of reproduction.
Modrons are extraplanar beings that hail from Mechanus, a dimension that embodies the lawful extreme of the law-chaos alignment axis.
Troglodytes in D&D are malodorous cave-dwelling humanoids. Usually hang out in the Underdark, which is good because sunlight hurts their eyes. They'll eat anything they can.
Stirges are enormous mosquito monsters.
The Blink Dog is a fey canine with a natural teleportation ability. They bear an instinctive dislike for Displacer Beasts.
Happy Lunar New Year!
The Nightmare is a fiendish steed that serves as a mount for powerful evil creatures.
The Dracolich is a loathsome beast, combining the awesome power of a dragon with the necromantic blasphemy of a lich. It first appeared in the 1979 White Plume Mountain adventure.
Siegfried, Shadow Elf, Monster Slayer, Friend of Ravens
Drawing lots of character portraits for people, here is one of my own.
Arik "Crazyeyes" Goldbeard, a dwarf revenant paladin. Right now he's in the Abyss, attempting to redeem its residents one by one.
