An elderly woman holds her grandson in her arms. They were just rescued from the occupied territory.

The woman lost her daughter and son-in-law.
A primary school teacher and his wife. Both were 22 years old.
a Russian missile killed them as the young couple slept peacefully in their own home.
🕯Kryvyi Rih will never forget this terror. Bright memory...
The story of a woman with a child who survived on the left bank.
Further, the text remains unchanged.
"Our house was located under the river itself, so the flooding was quick. My children and I were on the roof almost immediately. In the house opposite, my neighbors, an old grandmother and grandfather. They sat on the top until the last. They had no way to climb onto the roof. I and my children could hear them begging for help. They were screaming with an inhuman scream until the water engulfed their house. It's terrifying.
Miraculously, a local resident saved us. While we were sailing on the motor boat, we saw dozens of drowned pets. I personally saw the corpses of drowned people, held the children close to me and closed their eyes.
While we were sailing, I also saw graves that had been washed away from fresh graves in the cemetery. We were evacuated to the Iron Port. Here, where we are now, there are only tears and screams of rescued people. Almost every family has lost someone - someone's grandparents drowned, someone's parents drowned, someone went missing, someone saw children drowning, and someone saw with their own eyes the eyes of people who were held hostage in their homes and gradually died.
You have to talk about it.
To talk about the fact that everyone who sympathizes with the russian peace, who supports moscow, is complicit in the murder and genocide of Ukrainians.
The information war continues!
Check Before You Reblog advice:
In case of posts about Ukraine, if you see ANTI-WAR rhetoric, always pause and think. What is this post calling for?
- stopping Western "involvement in the war"
- stopping US/UK/France "support of aggression"
- stopping Western "intervention in democratic processes"
If so, think what it translates to.
It mostly translates to "stop giving Ukraine weapons that are Right Now Stopping Russia from rolling over the entire country". It translates to "stop helping Ukraine defend itself against Russia". It translates, in short, to "just fuck off and let Russia do what it wants".
It is a pro-Russian propaganda. And even if it claims it is Just Simply Against All That Violence or Just Against The War In General, it's still a fucking pro-Ruskies propaganda, because that would be the result. If they got what they say, if West (and I mean by it "old NATO countries") stopped providing Ukraine with support, well, that war would be over very quickly. By having all Ukraine overrun by Russians and all Ukrainians dead, kidnapped, raped or beaten into submission.
I'm not saying it would be moments. Days. Weeks even. I'm pretty sure "new NATO countries" would do what they can - pretty certainly our MOD in Poland would scramble whatever half-decent tank they could spare to send, because it is FUCKING NEXT DOOR to us. But that would not have lasted long. You can't defend against missiles with sheer bravery and boldness. Nobody can. Not for long.
And yes, it would end the war. With the outcome favourable only to Russia.
And then, having proven that Western assurances of support mean FUCK ALL (because you know why Ukraine gave up all its nuclear arsenal? you know? if you don't, go away and find out...), they would not hesitate to gobble up whatever other country was available next. And then they'd start nibbling on NATO borders, because apparently nobody cares, so why not try Poland. Kurica nie ptica, Polsza nie zagranica - Chicken isn't a proper bird and Poland is not a proper foreign country. Let's take Poland then, and roll over it, blooding what we can...
Back to the topic.
Check what you reblog. Don't disseminate pro-Russian propaganda. Don't reblog "I don't like Putin but USSR was kind of OK" shit. Don't share "Well the collapse of USSR was an error" - these are all RU agitprop talking points.
POV you said russia fights colonialism
Hey did you know I keep a google drive folder with linguistics and language books that I try to update regularly
UPDATE because apparently not everyone has seen this yet the new and improved version of this is a MEGA folder
I know there’s so many more urgent things but if you like this resource you may consider buying me a ko-fi to keep this project alive
Reblogging myself to add that the difference between langblr and other language learning communities is that here I get thousands of notes and people telling me they desire me carnally (side note: please don’t say this to a stranger)
And on other platforms it gets deleted because Piracy Bad :(
For the new year here is an FAQ
Is this still being updated? Yes, although currently sporadically because I’m very busy with grad school.
Can you add X language? As long as you ask nicely and the language isn’t already there I’ll try my best, although see above. Sometimes I don’t find resources though but I try to keep a list and periodically check again.
Can I send you files to add to the folder? Yes, you can send me links to them or ask me for my email address.
The folder is empty? Is it the Google drive? In that case please try the MEGA folder instead. If it’s the MEGA folder please DM me so I can send you the link again.
It asks for an encryption key? I don’t know why it does that sometimes but if this happens please DM me for the key.
I found a mistake in the folders? Thank you for telling me, I will try to fix it with the next update.
Do the ko-fi donations pay for the server costs? For legal reasons, no. I don’t want me, you or ko-fi to get into trouble. I am paying the server costs out of pocket (49€ a year) but the donations are used to balance out that fact by allowing me to acquire resources for the folder or for my daily life (I’m a poor grad student lol), support linguistic diversity through charities. No one is required to donate and I hope that once I have a stable job I won’t need donations, but currently every little bit helps.
Isn’t this piracy? Not if no one finds out so don’t you dare narc on me.
“sexual comment” I know this is meant as a compliment here but please don’t say these things to strangers
