I went somewhere else, man.

I was watching my parents’ dog and let her lead the walks because I haven’t gotten to know the area yet. I’m 33 and just lived the fantasy I think every kid has of walking through a gap in the trees to find a ~*mysterious trail*~

So when Daft Punk broke up, I didn’t post this because I wasn’t sure if the audio was still silenced.  Looks like it’s audible since I’ve been getting comments SO...

Back in 2017, I spent a good while editing in Human After All to Electroma which originally has no music by Daft Punk on it (two of those songs are kept in this cut, all walking sequences)

I don’t know how I feel about the music working thematically, but the visual sync was more of what I was concerned with and I think that’s what I’m most proud of.  The reason for using Human After All is that Electroma was born out of Daft Punk shooting a music video for Human After All and it grew into something else which ended up being Electroma.

Since it looks like Electroman After All is viewable as intended once again, enjoy~ :3

I like this poor boy’s sad attempt at putting his hair in a high ponytail, baby’s got a few more months to go for it to work. XD

I had to admit defeat, I don’t really know where I wanted to take this, but it’s cute and I AM happy with the angles on El’s head +hands and Annie’s content face.

Of course I have a Pokemon au for Blue and Yellow.  Of course it’s gotten far away from me. :y

Bonus:

Gonna post some old sketches.  This is from that one AU where if you write anything on your body, it shows up in the same place as your soulmate.

Blue and Yellow are precisely the kind of idiots who don’t realize it until after like a year of knowing each other and trying to convince themselves their soulmates are most likely to be a non-romantic sort so they can feel okay asking each other out without worrying either of them will inevitably leave for their soulmate.

Blue has a chatty soulmate so he writes where they don’t (back of the knees, back of the neck, on the face) with a UV marker.  So they figure it out playing laser tag when Blue sees a tag on the back of Yellow’s neck and they are, in polite terms, “escorted off the premises” when they make a scene wailing in each others arms blocking the door to the bathroom.

Bottom-most pic is when they met while Yellow is complaining to his friend about his soulmate never replying and Blue chimes in with the eternal wisdom of “do you leave room to reply?” His friend ends up leaving like “what the fuck was that”

They are two halves of a perfect idiot genius and I love them.

Just some Walking in the Rain sketches.  First two are working out some shots for the first chapter/prologue.

Most recent is the last sketch of Yellow with the “what did you fucking say?” unsmile there which is now my test sketch for all the brushes I download for Clip Studio. :U

And to this day, they say if you listen carefully you can hear mournful wailing and dance music coming from deep in the forest late at night.

So Blue and Yellow I don’t write taking place in a particular year but just for this current event, it’s 16 years since they met since, as my OCs, I’ve had them for 16 years (So this would put Blue at 31 and Yellow at 32).  Didn’t think too much about it, just that Yellow gets some facial hair and Blue is devastated by the news.

When the bf is a huge romantic and you still get all flustered.

Blue loves sweets so Yellow just gets him ALL THE CHOCOLATE for VDay and then they go to whatever store and he has Blue pick whatever he wants for half off day.

I planned this for VDay, hoping to still finish it while half off chocolate is still in stores. :y

And so I finished the bases for Blue and Yellow, ages 15 and 16 respectively.  Basically their default outfits without accessories or outer layer (Blue’s p partial to hoodies unsurprisingly).

The last time I’ve done a colored piece with them was apparently 2011.  I gotta say laying down the base colors for them is nice to see, especially since color is a huge part of their character (to a point I don’t even refer to them by their actual names, just their color, even in script lol).

Two bases left to make (as seen in this line up sketch), Yellow’s hair back/hair down, and Blue’s normal/unspecified sickness posts.
